I was under the impression that Duke's small head was due to him being in a suit of power armor without the helmet.

It is, Just that in mass recall, they decided to give him a cloth uniform instead of his red power armor for his portrait

I've actually come up with a personal theory for Rebel Yell that the "magistrate" is Matt Horner. Remember that he was the first person to join Raynor when he left the Sons of Korhal to form Raynor's Raiders! When they left Arcturus in the dust, they took the Hyperion as their new flagship, which likely happened briefly after the Ion Cannon was destroyed in "The Hammer Falls". Matt also has a long history with Jim, justifying why he knows so much about the history between Sarah and Jim. This last quote from Wings of Liberty also further convinced me Matt was the original magistrate. "Y'know Matt, someday you're going to wind up leading these bunch of misfits." "Oh, no... that's what I keep you around for... sir."

except that in one of the Starcraft novels, it mentions that the magistrate from starcraft 1 left them after the failed rescue mission on Char aka Zerg mission, Agent of the Swarm, and 2nd, big huge debunk to this theory as well, Matt Horner was with the Sons of Korhol before he met Raynor, they end up meeting after Jim joins Mengsk which happens like around Terran mission Trump card, and he follows jim all the way to after the failed rescue mission of Kerrigan, then after that the Protoss start attacking the infested transport vessels in a space platform and Jim not wanting to risk the Hyperion to get caught in the attack, tells Horner to warp out and come back for them later which he does, thus stranding Ranyor and a few raiders on Char for a time, finally in the starcraft wiki, it explains that the Magistrate is his own person in general, unlike the Protoss Executor which is revealed to be Artanis later on

no your theory is dumb, dont butcher starcraft lore for the horendous mess that is sc2 story. the player character was the commander of zer,protoss and terran campaigns no dumb character. blizzard sucks, nothin mroe than a greedy corporation.

I wonder why the adjutant is of the normal StarCraft II variety, instead of the Confederate Adjutant. And yeah, Duke's portrait is great, although I'm pretty sure it's based off of the Siege Tank portrait. He looks younger than in the first game, but it's nice having a unique portrait either way.

Unlike the Zerg, the Protoss was an actual known species by the Terrans. Despite their limited information, they know enough that the Protoss are more or less a shoot on sight faction.

According to the novel Liberty's Crusade, Conferedate ghosts managed to read zerg minds to an extent. They didn't get much, but they did manage to get the names Zerg and Protoss. The main character of the book makes the exact same comment to Duke. "You called them Protoss. Is it a name we gave them, or the name they give themselves? If it's the latter, how do you know it when it's supposed to be the first contact?"

did he ever made a video on how to instal and play custom maps in general? I moved and have really bad internet and wanted to at least play againts AI but maps dont show up. I've found some official ladder maps online and downloaded them but I have no idea how to make them work/show up in game menu.
