That's because Blizzard made the conscious choice to have multiple Terran factions, some with and without certain technologies, for the sake of both story cohesion and mission gameplay diversity. Only the Terrans of the Kopulu Sector had nukes, starting with the Confederacy and its infamous use of them on the entirety of the planet Korhal. The UED arrived in the Kopulu Sector with technologies unique to them that the Kopulu Colonists lacked, Medics, Valkyrie Frigates, upgrades to Goliaths, and an overabundance of Battlecruisers. Brood War multiplayer allows everyone who plays Terran to use all the technologies, but in the single-player story mode, the Sons of Korhal are the only ones with nukes (having destroyed the Confederacy and took their nukes), and only the UED (who you play against in this mission) have medics, valkyrie frigates, upgraded goliaths, and a lot of battlecruisers.

i wasnt finished building my army while 1 marine started attacking the other portal so i teleported immediately all units i have built and i saved the game at that moment, i took me a few attempts because it was taking me too much time fighting and finding all the UEDs, meanwhile my base was attacked and i couldnt defent it because im leading the fight, and once the main building is destroyed i lose or my units die before finding the last 1 UED, but i made it, thank you

I don't know if there's been a patch or what, but every time I try to retake that north base there's a late ultralisk that shows up to wreck everything. Also, there appeared to be a few extra marines hanging around where you put the end of the nidus canal, so I could never get the other end established.

Same thing happened to me! If you defeated the ultra, they send endless waves of zerglings!

On mass recall, hard difficulty the zerg start attacking the middle island very early with huge attack waves that is impossible to fend off without alot of static defenses so following what you did would be impossible Maybe they don't attack on lower difficulties like in this video

What difficulty are you talking about? Is that a mod? Regular SC doesn't have difficulty levels

I don't get it. I was attacked by like 8 mutas on my main but you weren't. It happend very early too, like I didn't even get to that msg at 4:35. Did I do something that triggered a more aggressive response?

He's going too fast to see what he's doing. This map just ticks me off. Anyway, even after I kill the lurkers they send dozens of units just right after I do it, costing me the area.
