UEDAIP, created by Nekron, is a mod for StarCraft Remastered created to make the existing StarCraft campaigns fun even for more experienced players by enhancing and improving them in a variety of ways with: personified, custom AI scripts for both enemies and allies that are faithful to their faction, a day/night cycle, a completely new UED tech tree, cached bank data and alternate win conditions which affect later missions, and more! This mod gives opportunities for players to improve their macro and creates situations in which they can improve their micro, forcing them to use casters, or just letting them have more fun in their favorite missions.

From Nekron: I think YT removed my previous comment so I'll just comment again >_> Thanks for Playing Jay! In these first two missions it's gonna be pretty apparent that those were meant as COOP maps at first. I gave up on this idea once it became obvious that trying to make them work with optional COOP is gonna take way more time than making singleplayer maps. I think it's a fair point that this map is pretty scary - that simcity from Purple was crazy, and since people approach this as an intro mission to learn the ropes with vanilla Protoss, it's fair game to say that I could tone this down. Don't worry, the expensive buildings is only a thing in Episodes 1 to 3. For those wondering, Dragoons here shoot a lot faster, but they also deal half the damage per shot.

​@@sagacity1071 Not quite sure what you mean by that - most buildings remain more expensive even during the Char missions of episode 3. Only the Nexus becomes cheaper, as reimbursement for Crystal Mending being disabled while away. It goes back to 600 when you return to Char. Is that what you were thinking of? Buildings return to standard prices (for the most part) in Brood War, and Crystal Mending is no longer a thing.

So enemy armor is twice as effective as normal. That's a rough nerf to the dragoon .

I personally found zerg mission 1 to be pretty challenging too. It does depend on whether the enemy attacks your ai ally or you though, admittedly.

That final mission was an absolute monster. It was fair though, which was almost worse since I knew it was my own actions that bit me in the butt, not because it was unbalanced.

After playing WC3 and SC2 for so long, going back to Brood War, fighting the UI, while dealing with this advanced AI that actively expands, and makes these bases that are so awful to siege is just too much for me personally.
