@StarCraftTrollPlays this is probably my favorite so far because of how funny it looks to see so many firebats fighting at 1 time, they are not the strongest unit and I've never seen them used so well before. The only other time I've seen this many firebats is in the old madness games of massing units and fighting in the middle.

haha love the ambition. Those are so hard to do. They take 45 minutes. 1) And at least 2 of the away team has to stay 2) They have to be motivated + and not tired 3) you have to hide 3 races that take up a lot of real estate 4) if they leave, you basically wasted 45 minutes lol

What cracks me up is that in lore, those Firebat suits aren't the best at shielding the operator from fumes, so I guess it's like extra stim from Vespene. 😄

@@StarCraftTrollPlays I bet that size difference enhances the psychological impact of them dropping in. And I was laughing out loud at how fast they actually tore down a Nexus. It must be because of how according to Liquipedia: "Its main attack is a ground-only flamethrower that consists of three small radial splash attacks in a line, each dealing 8 concussive damage at stock.[1] In most cases, units will be hit by two of these attacks, which is why the game presents the Firebat as dealing 16 base damage. However, attacking buildings or large units from various angles may land all three."

let's see you play against a category 7/8 opponent. 1v1. Pure strategy with a sprinkle of trolls. :)

@@MathDoctors Yeah those are in tier 1 inners/matches. Unfortuneately standard plays don't get as many views on youtube. Those are hard to get troll plays in because game pace is fast with little room/windows to invest into troll builds. It can be done but either someone on your team will die or the away team will leave before 9 minutes. Before any troll plays can even be done.

I'm a big fan of firebats vs zerg. Especially with how the meta seems to be developing, so firebat drops doesnt seem like a too far off future. I doubt it would be super effective at pro level for killing many workers but for ladder heroes it might be an effective tactic to cut your opponents opportunities. I'm also a fan of players that use optical flare on overlords 😂

@@Overgis4058 firebat proxies / drops etc are more effective for team games. Even with very good level players. Most troll plays in general aren't as effective in 1v1s unless its a big map with money. Players only have one person to focus on versus 3 so its easier to catch things.

@@StarCraftTrollPlays that makes a lot of sense. Combined with the strange nature of the plays, it'd be extraordinarily difficult to predict and counter. Makes me wanna get into trolling, but I get nervous playing vs opponents I havent prepared for

@@Overgis4058 its really build orders, timings, micro, macro. The only thing thats different in trolling is: 1) more pressure to make you ahead of them 2) but don't let them know you are far ahead 3) make them motivated in staying in the game and not leaving 4) creating distractions to setup plays

@@plasmaastronaut nuking and backstabbing allies was actually a sub request. I did it and ended up doing a 1v5 but viewers didn't like that video as much because thought I was mean for backstabbing. Even though the players I backstabbed are notorious for cheese and pissing people off 😂
