@@thedestroyer342 imo pigs are one of the most profitable animals when it's not winter, they made me up to 100k just by selling their trufles! I noticed that because on winter I made a total of 250k or so, and on fall I made almost 500k

I make about 1 000 000 g per season with pigs, they are so broken. They can find more truffles as they gain friendship, so on average 3750 g per pig every day

Adding the Automate mod to the mix makes some activities suddenly attractive. Coffee and tea are really good uses of your keg time if they're automated. (Tea plants themselves aren't that great, but coffee is a decent crop in the long term this way.) Seed makers are actual money printers if they're processing cranberries. Blueberries are also pretty good, and corn is pretty decent too. (The ratios on corn seed are good. The problem is the low productivity of the crop itself.) The main reason Seed Makers are such an awesome way to make money is due to the processing time being only 20 minutes. You only need more than one when you get serious about seed farming. I think it adds a bit to the Stardew Valley experience when Seed Makers feel like something that should only unlock at level 9 farming. Crab pots get a lot better when they're automatically baited and harvested, and you can set a Recycling Machine down to deal with any trash. It's actually a pretty good source of materials if you do it on a sufficient scale. It's difficult to say what's sufficient, but I'd say at least maxing out the pond on the standard farm, and around two dozen or so at the beach (it's safe on the tide pools side.) There's nothing stopping you from going absolutely hog wild with this, though. There are hundreds of tiles you can crab in the Cindersap Forest, I think. I've never come close to using them all, so I couldn't say for sure. I have used all the available tiles in the pond with the pier before. Beach crabbing gives more valuable stuff on average; several of them have higher base values than sashimi. P.S. It's possible to make sunflowers a non-terrible crop using Seed Makers. You can abuse item stack mechanics to get your homegrown seeds to sell for 100, as store-bought seeds would, instead of 20. It still doesn't make them a *good* crop for making money, it's just that they're much more competitive with growing a decent raw produce crop, while requiring much less processing than a jar or keg crop. They grow during summer and fall, though, where they compete with superior seed crops. Productivity is really important for seed crops, and they're just not very productive. Credit to Salmence for making me aware of this.

Automate mod even makes normal money makers much better. I recommend anyone using it to also use a mod to increase crafting cost and use a lower profit margin.

One thing i would love to happen in the game is for the tapper products to be buffed in price, they could add a rarity to it or something like that, because they are really not that good the way they are

I set up 40 maple trees and tappers in the desert, and collect the syrup a couple times a month. No maintenance, relaxed income. I could do more, but that's about as many as I feel like collecting in one go.

@@slwrabbits yeah, thing is: it's just not worth it, even in that scenario, because you could just put solar panels there and it would be more profitable with even more relaxed income

I used the crops to saplings mod with automate to make money. Those saplings make up for the sapling you bought by 2 times. Just leave them alone for the season and then use the fruit for saplings after.

Idk how i lived without the hot java ring. Now i dont need coffee plants and my kegs are all free to commit to wine. I keep most of the regular coffees so that when qi's quest for fresh cooked items i can "cook" the coffees into espresso and presto zero effort qi gems(although youd need quite a bit of coffee so will probably need to buy wheat and make more bread as filler)

Oh so we're including exploits in the "How to get rich quick" videos now huh? Well I have you beat and I don't need a channel to do it. Drag any item to the second row of your inventory. Have at least 1 space in the 1st row. Then spam shift click on the item you wanna get more of, and it'll double the item you click on into the top slot. 1 > 2 > 4 > 8 etc. It resets to 1 if it passes 999. Boom. Infinite money. Much faster than animation cancelling on milking cows to then sell the cows after waiting x days for another cow to show up. Or we can keep these videos legit and NOT include exploits?
