I will give you a Stardew Valley Farm Tour and offer decorating tips along the way. I will show you everything as it currently is on my farm during Spring Year 5 including fully upgraded animal coops, barn, slime hutch, tree tapper farm, iridium sprinkler farm, bee house farm, and more!

I always love these videos because they give me little ideas that are obvious, that I never thought of on my own. Like I didn't know you could plant grass on the grass near your "sell junk" chest. I didn't realize how grass along the border makes everything look more natural. And more importantly... I didn't think to put mayonnaise machines and the like IN the buildings! They're such an eyesore outside.

just letting you know, there is something that u can put in your barns/coops called an auto-grabber, sold by marnie. it basically grabs the product and collects it, and then u can grab it from the inventory instead of by hand. it also automatically grabs milk and stuff

What a beautiful farm. Question, would you say that having such a neat and organized farm with fences and paths decreased how much money you're making by a lot? Because while I like money and while pure monocultures might be a good idea, this is just so pretty and neat. Plus, you do have artisan goods constantly, which is valuable as well.

I never found myself feeling strapped for money, it made a fair amount. I'm sure it could make more if I laid it out differently and reduced my "wasted" space but I prefer decorating. :)

I love the look! I may just redesign mine to look similar but with different areas of placement. For example, I want to keep all farming near the greenhouse and all animals closer to the main house so I can remind myself to check my animals daily and close the hatch door when bad weather is brewing for the next day.

Edit: I know this is like from almost 3 years ago but I just started playing lol I just started Stardew a valley 3 weeks ago and I ran into a problem where I didn’t know how to set up anything. I looked up a bunch of peoples farms and they were all ok but they didn’t look pretty like this one. I wanted a farm that was both asthetic and functional. So I’ve literally copied EXACTLY your farm onto my farm. Well I say exactly but I’m not finished. I have all the hardwood fences in order, all the trees planted, both coops fully upgraded, one with ducks and chickens (and even a void chicken) another with rabbits, and a deluxe barn with cows and one pig and the area to grow grass for hay. I just wanted to say thanks for this tour because it lightened some of the stress I was feeling when trying to plan the layout. The only problem I have with this layout is there is no shed or windmill anywhere (unless I just missed it in the video) and I’m not sure where to put them.

Hmmm, pretty! Moving the mayonnaise makers and such inside the buildings is smart. I have them just outside, but if I move them inside, there'd be more room for grass... Weathered wood flooring and the straw flooring looks nice, too... I just have cobble paths and then wood flooring surrounding my crop area and under my keg/preserves area. While it is true, I focus on decorating, I make plenty of money from artisan goods and crops. I ALWAYS use fertilizer, convert eggs to mayo, milk to cheese, fruit to wine/jam and cook dishes with veggies. I have my ways... MUHAHAHA :)

I play Stardew on a Nintendo Switch and recently started a new character. I romanced Emily, bought a mermaids pendant, gave it to her the same rainy night and went off to wait the 3 days till we were married. The next day was rainy and out of curiosity I talked to the Ancient Mariner and he offered to sell me another Mermaids Pendant which I bought. I am in the process of of romancing another female up to 10, then the bouquet and then I shall offer her the Pendant while still married to Emily. It shall be interesting to see what the game does at that point in time. :-)

Actually, I'm struggling right now, it's been past a year since I played this game again in NS. The enthusiasm and excitement in playing SV is gone now. It's a bit overwhelming to continue the game since I forgot some of the technique already. Do you have any reccomendation? Should I start all over again?

Whenever I come back to play SDV after a long break, I always start a new farm. It is hard to remember where I left off in previous play throughs, and it gives you all new stuff to do from the start and you can make each playthough unique by choosing different farm type, marrying differently, decorating your farm differently, focusing on different aspects of the game, choosing joja or community center. That's my two cents.

Are you talking about fruit trees or normal trees? And they only need the free space WHILE they are growing. Once they have grown, you can put stuff around them.

I make line thingies with brick floors, I also put too much seasonal decor and I don't know if it's a good thing or not. I discovered that you can place plant pots and place them outside making it look like a flower growing area. I'm a neat freak and I definitely don't want to place sprinklers next to them and I doubt they'll automatically be watered (Unless you have water retaining fertilizer)

That's a great technique! I use Winter for farm overhauls, since you don't have to worry about grass and animals roaming about. Moving around buildings and redoing farm plots is much easier in the winter IMO.

I’m in year 5 but there was a solid 2 years where my game would NIT let me plant ANYTHING so I basically couldn’t do farming for 2 years so I decided to mine and marry Seb instead then after all that my game decided to work....so my farm Literally looks like it’s in year 1

As of the release of 1.1, you can plant trees in the Greenhouse again, back by popular demand.

Not really, I am using the hardwood fence (top tier) and they last up to one year in-game.

You can also use other items to make 'fences' like perserve jars beehives kegs etc. Then just use a post a gate and a post to make your entrence/exit
