I started playing when the 1.5 update came out a little over 2 years ago. This music brings nostalgia as that was a good time in my life. And how it can just go away :(

I just started playing stardew when a friend bought it for me about a year ago and I never thought I'd be nostalgic about it but you've managed to bring me back to the good old days of things that once were and will never be again, a time not so long ago but one I've lived many lifetimes since, a time I hold dear to my heart and one I will yearn for forever, a better time, pre covid, back when you'd I'd go play at my friend's houses, back before college spread us so far apart, back when the good times rang true and we didn't worry about what tomorrow would hold, a time when I could be myself, a time when I knew who that was, and a time I wish I could see again, a better time, not so long ago.

Reading this back, I apparently get poetic when tipsy, I'll have to use that for college English

I discovered Stardew Valley in around 2018, and my brother bought it for me on the Switch. I’ve been in love with it ever since, and the music is so beautiful. You have captured the emotion and meaning of this song *perfectly,* with the crescendos and pauses. Absolutely stunning, you have earned a subscriber.

Do you come up with your own arrangements? I would love to learn how to play some of the covers that you've done.

I know it's not appropriate to ask (I know Jackson has said in the past he doesn't like to give out his lead sheets which I completely understand) - but does anywhere know where I can find the sheet music on this somewhere online? Otherwise I guess I'll try to put it together by ear on MuseScore or something and cobble it together with the piano version. I'm still learning and I have a hell of a time finding sheet music for these kinds of songs. This one of those rare, recognizable, songs that might be more accessible to me as a beginner. Anyways - sorry, I know people ask this stupid question all the time but I think this is a song I'd like to learn and master, so it's worth getting yelled at.

this tune is in the wonderful vgleadsheets compendium: www.vgleadsheets.com/view/stardew-valley/stardew-valley-overture I played from my own transcription for this video, but the lead sheet is nearly perfectly accurate. I think there might be just 1 or 2 notes that are off, but it's more than good enough to start with

@@JacksonParodi :D This is amazing! Thank you so much! By the way, when I was first thinking about picking up the accordion a little more than a year ago, it was really inspirational to see your amazing progress over the years. Most accordion players seem to spring up from the ground playing Vampire Killer and we rarely get to see someone go through the learning process. And like any novice, I became obsessed with Song of Storms and watched your key change video over and over. Thanks for sharing!
