Stardew Valley Song Package - It's a Big World Outside || The Indie Game Cover Collection (4:56) Lyrics: Ughhh… Dammit! I’ve been at this for a couple of weeks and all I have to show for it is a measley patch of tiny parsnips, multiple trips to the clinic thanks to those FRICKIN’ BATS, two lousy fish and absolutely no metal, and I’m just about broke here! What am I doing wrong? Maybe I should’ve just stayed in the city. It’s Friday, It’s been a bad week. I need a drink. Oh, hopefully that barkeep lets me start up a tab. - Hey Gus, you got something that will… I don’t know, help me forget the past week? - Not having a good time trying to get that farm back in shape? - Bah! That would be an understatement. - Hey there, youngun! Y’know, if you’re having a rough time of it, I’m sure some of us could give you some pointers! Ain’t that right, everyone? - Why sure! - Of course! - Yeah! - No problem here. - Screw off, old man, I’m just here to drink. - Okay… MOST of us wouldn’t mind seein’ that old farm returned back to its old glory, anyway. Sit down a spell and do Tell all the things troublin’ you (All my crops grow up too small, And the crows are having a ball) After you till the ground Make sure the fertilizer goes ’round (That could make the plants full size, But the crows will still eat my prize) Scarecrows made with sticks and hay They will keep crows away (Is that all this needs?) [I’ve noticed you look worn out before lunch] (Ahh! I can’t keep up with all the weeds) [The seeds dropped from trees you chop can Give you back some punch] (Aren’t they kind of dry?) To quench your thirst we’ll dig that well first (Ah It can’t hurt to try) - You know, something else that might help you save some time and effort… Sprinklers! Only you’re gonna need some metal for that. - Metal? - Now lets’s see… - Oh, that’s gonna be a problem. - I do believe that’s my department. When you dig down into the mines, I know it can be dangerous at times (All the bats are just too fast, And the slimes I just can’t outlast) Remember to block with sword and the Hammer can be slammed into the floor (That might let me catch some breath, Maybe even stave off my death) You could try to bomb the floor Keeping your arms less sore (Guess that would be fast) Those bombs can also uncover ore (I think I will have a blast) Always bring some food along For when you don’t feel strong (Food supplies go fast) And one last tip, just upgrade your pick! - Seems like carrying food around is the common theme here, but I am broke! Where am I gonna get all this food? - I think I know a place or two! - Lemme guess… … fishing? - Bingo! (Mean no offense, but these fish seem to want nothing To do with me. They flee no matter what I do It’s frustrating) One thing I would say is just try calming right down, When you yank hard, the hook rips right out their mouth (I don't want to) When they bite you just give the line some slack, Use less force and you’ll find that there’s less fight back (That’s a nice plan, but I hate standing around with Nothing to show at the end of another day Maybe I can) You could try to load some crab pots out on the shore Everything they catch will teach you something more (Catch just one ray) One last tip is to not start out on the beach, All of the river fish are more in your reach - Oh, thank you everyone… I know I’m pretty much literally crying in my beer over here, but I do appreciate all the help. It’s just so ovewhelming, you know? There’s still so much to do. I haven’t managed to meet everyone in town yet, and- - Hey, Farmer, Just relax All these things will Come with time You’ll be fine Don’t pout We’ll be here to help out Now, just take a deep, cleansing breath, let it out slow, then grab your beer, and we’ll put a coin in the jukebox.
