It’s shots like this that make me wonder what the music in game will sound like. Skyrims ambient music was so emotionally captivating and fueled the atmosphere so well. I can’t wait to walk around a planet with 3 moons orbiting in the sky, stars sparkling everywhere, exo planets in clear view, dynamic weather rolling in, and the sound of the breeze blowing through my headset. That’s when I want the music to kick in. ONE MORE MONTH!!

3:14 that is by far my favorite shot. Just that imposing massive red planet in the background with a tiny ship in front. Simple yet beautiful. Reminds me a lot of 2001: Space Odyssey. Plus, notice how all the prettiest shots usually consist of 2 main colors with perhaps a 3rd accent color. A very common technique used in films. But not so much in open world games.

However, Star Citizen is multipler and has no loading screens so you can literally fly to a planet and land anyway easily.

Do you think there will be a survival system like fallout? I was noticing that some guns in the cinematic the character has thousands of rounds. But sometimes they have less than 20. It will be the same gun at two different points but with vastly different ammo counts. That makes me think there might be a survival option in which ammo has weight but that in the base game ammo doesn't have weight.

Love the video idea but after watching in 0.25x speed mode it's noticeable that you missed on some of the transitions kinda jarring to see a clip of one scene for half a second before the scene you intended. Just pointing it out for future edits.

@@Cipher_8 Well, actually a lot of people use them for gaming because they have a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The Xbox version will have a refresh rate of 30 Hz. If we can get 60Hz or more it should be amazing. For competitive players doing pvp etc refresh rate is much more important so they seldom want 4k anyway. If you can afford a 4k monitor with 240 Hz +, that would be awesome.

I have heard that if your monitor is 27" or smaller, there is no benefit of having anything above a 1440p monitor and for most desks the biggest people would want to go is 42". For OLED players who play a lot of RPG games and don't need above 120Hz many get 42" LG OLED TV because they can still use it on their desks. I got a 48" because I was ready for a TV and wanted a monitor with good 4k OLED HDR10. It is too big for my desk but a perfect size for my room. Now I am about to get an I9 4080 gaming pc. I will probably be ordering it tomorrow. It has been a tough choice to find a well priced quality prebuilt. I'm probably going with a HP Oman from Best Buy for about $3k. There are other brands I prefer but they are a lot more expensive and I am not talented enough to make my own.

The fallout 4 moon went the opposite direction in the night sky as ours. The way to understand this is that fallout’s moon travels around the earth twice everyday (ours takes nearly a month). This explanation is nice and all, but that would mean that the moon should’ve left it’s orbit at such speeds, unless you want to say it is it is smaller and closer than our real life moon.

The fallout 4 moon was unrealistic, and I hope Starfield is just as realistic as it is stunning 🤩 (as far as planetary orbits are concerned). Fallout’s moon went the wrong way, which means it traveled around the earth twice every day. And yet the phases were still as slow as in our world. They should have been sped up. Basically the moon should go through all it’s phases every night, which would look amazing.

This is a disappointing video from a channel I am generally very pleased with. This is lazy reupload of teaser/trailer footage that probably isn't even protected by Copyright Fair Use because music does not count towards the legal definition of transformative. There is visible screen tearing and/or stuttering on almost every clip, likely due to the major speed reductions. The music is the only redeaming quality and it's only okay at best. I would expect a video about the Starfield lighting engine to actually discuss the engine, like pointing out specific areas of improvement in newer trailers compared to the old ones where the lighting as called out as a major problem. I guess that's probably already been done, though, and this is just a result of content drought until more game revelations.
