You gotta be playing on pc cuz Xbox placing items is ridiculous. It takes three hours just to place 5 books. You def can’t put fruit in a bowl unless you place the bowl and hopefully drop them with drop item option lmao. It’s super good. Be nice when a patch comes to fix some stuff

Hi, I definitely am working on a guide to placing furniture and objects, will be coming soon. As far as mods, I used only one to acquire the cool spacesuits for the mannequins. Other than that, all the furniture/ objects are found within the game. Took a lot of looting and a lot of researching for additional furniture under the outpost tab. I will be sure to include all of these in a video.

How did you get objects to stay on shelves or tables? Whenever I use either the decor lock feature, or manually placing objects; whenever I travel and come back they just phase through surfaces.

Hi, I did run into this problem several times when I would re-enter the home. All that work of placing objects would phase through the surface!! So annoying! What helped was to place the object high enough so they would fall in that fixed position rather than placing them directly on the surface (you might see the object shake, avoid that). And after replacing all those objects AGAIN, save and save your game again until every time you re-enter the home, all objects should stay put.

To get the full inventory, you’ll have to use the Research bench, and it’s under the “Outpost” tab, to research Decoration.
