I know this is for the mine itself, but there's another secret area here. There is a free boost pack in the main like crew hall area of the Argos mining building, too. The same area where you wake up after touching the story mode item (no spoilers, lol). Look around the area in all the rooms, and in one of them there is a dark area that has a locked door, but behind the door is a boost pack that you can pick up via the same method as the Mk1 spacesuit/armor at the Lodge. Crouch, get really close to the gap in the door, and just slowly hover the cursor/crosshair over the gap until you get the option to loot it. I saw this in a video by "SwoleBenji" here on KZbin.

Vectera has many caves outside of the mine and so much ore to harvest all around. Before leaving and going outside grabe the boost pack. The boost pack can be found in the locked caged room. Just crouch and peek through the door crack to the left of the door. Once you have that then it will be alot easier to traverse the map and the many caves outside of the mine. I found the following resources Aluminum, Benzene, Beryllium, Caelumite, Chlorosilanes, Europium, Hypercatalyst, Isocentered Magnet, Isotopic Coolant, Neodymium, Nickel, Solvent, Water, Argon, Uranium, Tau Grade Rheostat, Copper, Led, Iron, and Zero Wire all on Vectera.

You can get up to the second highest bridge without a jetpack in the cavern. I remade my file and did it just to try it and I got up there. You were trying from the wrong side. Go to the left hand side of the opening towards ??? on the far side of the lower bridge. There are three hand holds that you have to sort of zig-zag left then right then left up to a ledge then from that small ledge head up and to the right to find another very small ledge. These don't really look like places you can stand but you can. Finally there is a third with a slant over the ledge you want to get up to and from there you can drop down on to it. It took me like 30 minutes after I found the spot to climb it. Worth restarting though.

I don't know if you actively reply to comments, but I wanna know something. I remember you being very worried for procedural generation and the potential lack of handcrafted environmental storytelling Bethesda is known for. There's the Kreet Research Facility in the main story, but are there locations that you can simply discover that tells a story if you explore it without the location being attached to a quest? Are you disappointed or pleased with the amount of storytelling that makes your Detective series so enjoyable, for example?
@MisterJoshuaTree Жыл бұрын
I’m not camel but I’ll throw in my two cents. I’m only about 15 hours or so in, but so far I’ve only encountered handcrafted locations during quests (not just main quests, I just finished a very cool dungeon during the crimson fleet quest line). So you can’t really just land on a planet and expect to find a super detailed, hand crafted randomly generated area. I’ve even come across two abandoned mines on separate planets that seemed like exact copies of each other, at least on the outside. This isn’t Skyrim where you can just wander the wilderness and find random little things here and there. Random planets are largely empty, with points of interested scattered around every few hundred meters. This hasn’t really interfered with my enjoyment of the game at all so far, especially because the quests I’ve done have all been really excellent.

You seem to miss 3 Caelumite deposits. I'm leaving with 25 (although I always miss at least 1 Beryllium instead). One Caelumite to the top right of the artifact specifically is incredibly finnicky to get.
@TheRealW.S.Foster11 ай бұрын
So I'm comparing the hauls, and I have one more Beryllium, three more Caelumite and three whole Europium from a secret cave some mentioned being below the stone bridge. I managed to nab me a boost pack that someone else had mentioned that I could get from that locked area in the miner's den, dropped it to get rid of the stolen icon, and tried my darned-est to get the four Europium ores on that stone bridge... to no luck, unfortunately. If anybody really does know of a way to get those last four Europium deposits, I'd be pretty grateful myself.

Since the game is procedurally generated, I suspect there won't be a ccc series for it. But I hope that's not the case - as small details are the mortar to all Bethesda games in my opinion.
@Safetytrousers Жыл бұрын
The quests are the same always, and that is where the meat and progression of the game is. Wandering a planet is a minor activity, and what you'll find is the same on any given planet. The procedural generation has no real affect on the game.
