@@mblair5327 I get that. Really wish we could get more KOTOR, but only if it's done right.

'Leaves you wanting more' pretty much goes for Bathesda as a whole, and partly the reason for why the mod scenes for their games are so huge. They just have to make a sandbox playground in an interesting setting, with an interesting story, everything else has essentially been offshored to modders, hell, the very first thing that I mod in pretty much every Bathesda game is the lukewarm, shallow combat; Optimizations, visuals, bugfixing, entire mechanics, all have to be handled by modders either because the devs don't have the time or expertise to do it themselves, or understand that they don't have to do that since modders will do it for them. And it's honestly worked for them, it got them cash for sure, but then they release starfield, their most aggressively mediocre game to date, with a worse setting that the one they tell you happened (the war), more than just forgettable, but annoying characters and plot points, and mechanics nearly identical to fallout 4: Already outdated nearly a decade ago, and the mechanics they did add, like space flight, combat, and ship customization, as you pointed out, aren't good. I think that the best notable aspect of Starfield is the detail of their misc. items. That's it. Which says alot. Missed opportunities all around and I do not expect any better for their next titles I'm afraid, ship of theseus: These are not the same developers whom created their past titles, nor are they even the same studio whom created New Vegas, although considering the The Outer Worlds, the Obsidian which created New Vegas is long dead too. Not alot positive to say unfortunately.

I think you’re the first person I’ve heard complain about ship building. That’s like the one part of the game that everyone seems to love. But the interiors can be horrific if you don’t know what you’re doing. At the end of the day, this game is never going to be a space sim. I have no clue why people were expecting that from Bethesda.

I was disappointed with Starfield. I love No Man's Sky and Fallout. I was hoping for a mix of those two things. I guess my expectations were unrealistic. The first DLC just looks like more of the things that I didn't like about the base game. I hope that Bethesda can create some impressive DLC in the future. Hello Games was able to change everyone's perception of NMS with free updates. Hell, Bethesda did that with Fallout 76.

@@perceivedvelocity9914 I did enjoy that they tried to focus on only one area for the dlc, but it didn't feel like they put enough effort into it. Definitely didn't seem like it was worth the price they're asking for the dlc. They'll really need to put more into the next one if they expect that price point moving forward.

1:45 "A fair amount of people will agree with me" WRONG!! That was your first biggest mistake. Appeasing the trojan ponies. 4:11 WRONG - the ship building is one of starfield's most strongest feature. It was not an after thought. 5:00 "most people ... players..." WRONG AGAIN Why are we talking about other people??? You are appeasing the review bombers. Stop being weak. It will only turn you indignant against starfield and then needing therapy as such behaviour will transfer to other aspects of your life. 8:00 "Alien species" - WRONG. This is all about human relationships, human interaction, and human behaviour. It's about brothers, the eldest, the second and the youngest. In fact constellation group was all about the quest for aliens, but in the end it lead to the end, aswell as during this companions opening up about their personal human stories, their pasts, their worries, their stories with other humans that are holding them back from quite literally passing on. 9:10 "it's all the same crap" - ouch, you've lost it. "It didnt do all that well, ... a lot of players..." Now either you'll be paying through your nose in therapy, exorcism, ruqyah, pills etc. Or you have the option of instilling just one quality: patience. Or you could get 5.1 surround sound speaker setup for your pc, turn off the music in the game, and then play it.

@@UmmerFarooq-wx4yo I take it Starfield is one of your favorite games. That's about the only reason I can see for taking it so personally. I get it, you loved the game, but most people didn't. Even fewer people thought the DLC was good and worth the ridiculous $30 price tag. Out of curiosity, are you going to be mad if/when Bethesda does introduce aliens to the game? They have them in Fallout and it makes far less sense for them to exist there when compared to Starfield. I'd be shocked if they never introduce any unless they abandon this game. As for disagreeing on "same old crap," it's a bunch of fetch this, kill that, go here, talk to this person. The same quest types that we've had for ages. It's really funny when it wants you to deliver a message or talk to someone in another system. Seriously, you people can build ships, but you lack the ability to deliver messages that aren't Space Pony Express. My how we have fallen since the days of telephones and the internet. Lol Also another missed opportunity I forgot to mention was, radio/tv. We get radio stations in Fallout and that's humanity on the brink with limited resources. Yet some how our advanced space traveling civilization doesn't get anything but a news kiosk. Lol just lol In all sincerity, this game probably would've been better without ship based mechanics. The ships handle like crap, much like their rover. It adds a bunch of unnecessary loading screens. Plus all the time they spent on that could've been used to polish and improve other aspects of the game. You'd still have a ship and it'd be there on whatever planet you're on, but it would simply function as a base of sorts. I didn't even get a chance in the video to touch on how lame it was going to the temples to get your powers. It was cool the first time, but seriously those needed to be dungeons. Instead we got a ridiculously repetitive zero g minigame. Maybe they were too busy making a ship builder or something to bother with that. Honestly, Bethesda's fall from grace is in how they push themselves. Their goal normally seems to be to outdo themselves on size or quantity, but not quality. Always biting off more than they can chew and the game suffers in the end because of it. We can definitely have differing opinions on the game. You're welcome to disagree with me on everything I've said, but there's bound to be a middle ground somewhere that we can agree on.

@@UmmerFarooq-wx4yo The player count is low especially for how new the game is and it just got a new expansion. So it's safe to say the mass disappointment is real.
