Nice ship, only thing i'd change is put landing bay on the front. Nothing worse than having to run around to the back of your ship wasting time.

Can't remember when I last wore my Starborn armor. Keep mine on a mannequin. Legendary craftsmanship, for me, has always superceded Starborn by 4 levels for me with complete control on perks. Stealth composites, etc. Nice ship for Class B and mass.

Thank you! It took me watching allot of ship build to get how it all works. The big problem I had was not enough credits to complete builds. On Razorleaf, I would put only one or two weapons for each type, then add more as I get credits. I did learn how to Farm Amp and now AMP, Snake Oil and O2 Shots. The last update let me sell the stuff at The Key and get $192,500 for each 48 hour wait. See my videos. I will be starting NG+v7 soon, first think is build the outpost, then join the Crimson Fleet, then get the Razorleaf to do the missions and play the game. I am going to do a Frontier Cargo Hauler video soon. It make it easy to upgrade your stuff and build the outposts.

for PC players, I recommend installing mods that make effective radiator parts of landers and trusters after that they will no longer be empty ballast

I agree with most of the other Comments:) Nice work! I ❤ the simple symmetrical aesthetic. It is pleasing to the eye. Front facing Landing Bay is a must! Also, very curious about why specifically you chose that cool looking EM 500? Am I missing something? I feel like the cheap options for those function just as well if not better. And lastly, renaming your ship 'The Mantis' works really well in Roleplaying as the Superhero Bounty Hunter Badass you are!! Especially if you keep the OG paint scheme and wear your Mantis HELM LIT UP ❤❤❤❤

I can't find some parts like 20t cargo hold is there any specific requirements??

You can get the 20T from the Technician at New Atlantis on Jemison. I upgraded all my skills for ship building, crew and piloting as a priority.

Why use a rear-facing ramp instead of a front-facing? I find the rear-facing really inconvenient.......

I am now using the Front facing ramps, you are so right about the rear facing one being a bit inconvenient. I now use the Hopetech one you you get at Hopetown. I like the really large entrance. Too bad Vasco doesn't travel in it! I did a revised video named Razorleaf+ that used that land ramp.

The slim docker can be used top or bottom.

Good suggestion, I do like to use the slim docker sometimes, however, the Deimos dock fits nice into the bottom of that design.

Found some of it fairly quickly (and it's reasonable that not everyone knows requirements for parts they have available) ... - Uses Class B reactor and parts so "Piloting 3" - The Class B reactor used requires Level 60, and "Starship Design 4" - The White Dwarf 3015 engines are also going to need "Starship Design 4" - The PBO-175 beams also need "Starship Design 4" - The Vanguard parts will need you to do some of the UC Vanguard questline I really like the look of the build. Will be looking for substitute parts with lower requirements, as my current game isn't yet up to the above thresholds. ;)

I am NG+6 right now, I have maxed out Piloting and Starship design perks. You can use the Pilot Simulators in Mast to get your piloting skills up quickly. I also have the Wanted trait, so I get in ship battles allot. Many of the parts have lower level and cheaper versions you can install and later use the Ship Upgrade option to move them up in power for added costs. Hope this helps.

What’s the total cost of this upgrade? Want to make sure I have enough credits before starting.

I'm sorry, don't know how to calculate the cost accurately. If you are short on credits, use the lower cost versions of the Reactor and Grav drives, leave off the cosmetic items and don't put on all 6 Obliterators and PBO-175 particle weapons. I have video for making an O2 Shot Farm. If you make that you will have as many credits as you could ever need.

Probably missed something, but I am missing a lot of these parts, even after following every step in the video. Basically I cant do everything from 17:30 onwards. Is it because of my skills or do I need to go buy more parts somewhere else, like the grav drive, reactor, engines, landing gear? Edit i have piloting at 3 and starship design at 2.

A tip to increase your Piloting Skill is to do the Vanguard Mission at Mast. You will be directed to the Pilot Simulator, you can use these over and over to improve your skill level.

What the hell, is this a really really cheap scripted AI voice or something? Holy hell those prolonged pauses between EVERY WORD is annoying to listen to. And also why make building an outpost a requirement??

My real voice was not working out, so I use a text to voice system. I used my outpost to finish the build as then you get the credits when you buy all the modules. Later you can sell a small ship or two at that outpost. I always build an AMP or Dysprosium outpost to raise the credits needed get the modules, especially those weapons are so pricey.
