Starfield | Starborn Guardian Decorated ( UPDATE 1.11.33 Ship Interiors)

The Starborn Guardian ship was always asking to be decorated, finally with the recent update you can. With other ships it works a little different, you need to build the "empty" variation of the ship hab and then decorate inside of it, although you can deocorate in any hab you just can't delete pre exisiting furniture. This was fun to do and I love how depending where you're at the atmosphere and view change. Finally you can actually have a base that you can take with you anywhere. Everything seems to work fine with the misc/junk clutter as long as you save and quit before going anywhere, thats what I do and never have an issue with misc items sinking or acting weird. Going to be more interested in building my own ships with empty rooms now so I can decorate the inside, stay tuned for more videos on that and of course some more outposts. Would have liked to of added a bathroom somewhere and more crafting stations but you could make it fully useful if you wanted, I just wanted to make it look good. @@STUTTA707 you can use any item you pick up to decorate and also use your build menu to decorate. You’ve been able to decorate on ships with inventory items before this update, but now you can also build with your furniture and decorations in your build menu just like outposts

The fact this feature also works on the Guardian makes it even more special. The Guardian felt so useless with all that open space.

Wow! The ship looks SOO much better with some decoration in it. And that VIEW! I wouldn't mind waking up to a big window with a sea of stars outside or sit at a coffee table in the morning watching the same awesome view :D

From someone who is playing the beta, I can confirm it does work like a normal bed.

This looks great. Great view of the stars from your bed. I didn't use this ship for a few of reasons. For one, it is empty. It's also not very powerful. But the biggest reason is that I find it lore-breaking. People would be freaking out if this ship just landed at their spaceport. The UC would certainly want answers and probably detain you the second you entered New Atlantis. On my NG+, I stole an Ecliptic ship first thing before landing anywhere. It kind of felt like in Terminator, having to steal some clothes first thing after traveling back in time.

Very nicely done! I was immediately disappointed at how that ship had a hug but entirely empty interior. The other ships in the game were well decorated, but not this one. To use an old line; I like what you've done with the place!

I just can’t wait until we find out Where the ships and suits come from. I mean… unless the lore is that “they just pop into existence when someone travels through the Rift and becomes a Starborn.”

knowing BGS, that is it. i mean the in game lore is no one knows where the artifacts came from, who made them, why you gain powers from the temples, etc. none of it is explained. frankly i think they ran outta time. it's already been documented that the ending was all done last minute in order to ship the game. hate to think what they had the year it was supposed to launch.

Also I think the news outlets were just making a fuss, about them running Outta time for the ending, cause if that were really the case, the lead quest designer wouldn't have said his favourite part of the game was the ending

😂 I know, I was deciding on either a crew room or a bathroom, hard to make private spots on the starborn ship so I just went with the crew room. I wish there was at least one room that was accessed through a door within the ship so I could have at least added a bathroom.

No mods. This is the newest update currently in beta right now on Steam for PC only. Should be on consoles soon within the next week or two, it allows ship interiors to be decorated now.
