I feel like, lately there are more and more pay mods, which are super expensive in addition to being very (honestly) average, if not clearly bad. Looks like Bethesda doesn't control mod content at all. It's a good thing that there are still paid mods that are really worth it (such as fleet commander or McLarence) but this one is clearly not worth it.

The problem I’m starting to see is paid mods becoming counterproductive to trying to grow or even retain any kind of a player base through customization of the experience. What we’re starting to get is an over saturation of paid mods that seem to be a result of people slapping a mod together and figuring they might as well slap a price tag on it too. For every Choose Your Chunks you unfortunately get a dozen fly-by-night offerings. It’s one thing if a subpar mod is free and you can uninstall it and forget it, it’s entirely another if it costs money and is non-refundable. This practice is damaging the experience in the long run.

This is where having folks like CFB and Sinkiller really help the average player sort out the good from the bad when it comes to mods. I appreciate CFB's comments and such but I get to decide for myself what I may get or pass on. The true value is in them doing the previews and playthroughs which I really appreciate with my subscribing and giving thumbs up. Thank you CFB for taking the time to provide this service to all. As to this mod. It is a definite pass for sure.

"Hi, I introduced an annoying mechanic into NG+ but you can poke a keyboard to make it go away, just $6!" Also, Crimson, I'll just pretend you vaporized yourself on that cage for funsies, and not because you disregarded the game telling you that it would be lethal... I was going to ask about the 0mb Disruptor, but the mod description mentioned it. EM Systems 3 is an upgrade as you only get tier 2 from either Moara or Sahima from the DLC, and he's a freebie like Sarah thanks to Leadership. Seems the author definitely assumes you'll destroy the chatbot.

600 credits for a mod that uses text to speech and is 10 minutes long ???? Paid mods are getting way out of hand. I appreciate that you can be understanding and try not to offend mod authors , but you and all of us need to stop this from now on, its offensive to peoples time and money.

Thanks to @OldMansBeard for the mod and @Crimson for the commentary. In my opinion, 600 Quatluus for a 3KV weapon to use whilst complimenting people is rather high. As a proof of concept, OMB has something there but it needs more refinement.

I liked OMB, I used to be on their discord until the whole Cheat Room fiasco with Tarshana where they stole assets from Cheat Room - then denied it. It's hard for me to ever want to support them after that.

The concept doesn't really work, you lose all dialogue options with npcs to prevent you from talking about the unity even though you never bring up the unity in the dialogue you lose access to. The complete opposite would have been better, where you go through the unity and now you've got a SCP style memetic cognito-hazard where all you can talk about is the unity and you need to figure out how to stop before masses of people find out and start f*cking up the multiverse.
