Love the idea that 155fps is low and that having more will make a noticeable difference. The mouse acceleration thing however is baffling that its not in the ingame settings, glad we can get rid of it even if it's a bit of a weird way to go about it.

bro 150 is pretty good but the standard isnt 60fps anymoreits 2024 and any decent pc has to run at 90-150 but a high end can run 240 500 ive seen em in person my buddy has a high end and you can actually tell how 240 is so smooth and 500 is just insanely buttery

Game literally runs so poorly on my 16 gb of ram and RTX 2060 Super that it freezes on a single frame for upwards of 5-10 seconds at certain points. Unreal Engine 5 is an actual dumpster fire

Sound like you have either an HDD issue, or overheat issue (assuming its a laptop) with a gtx 1660 and i3 12100 i can get over 150fps with amd fsr ultra perf, gpu running at 71 degree max (undervolted)

Man I don't get it. I have a 3050 with 11th gen i5 with enough ram, yet on some maps it drops down to 20 fps somehow. Optimal settings are supposed to be "High" but of course I tried on "Medium" settings, I even tried DLSS on Ultra Performance mode, yet it stayed the same. It all feels just preposterous.

Marvel rivals made an announcement in the discord about "unexpected issues" that may arise from altering config files and i asked their support what that meant. The answer i got was that anyone removing mouse accel in that way might be banned or penalized. Awful decision from them imo. No idea why theyre forcing mouse accel in game like this, first time ive ever seen that. At least theyre probably going to add an option in game (shouldve been there from the start)

I used to play DBD. Cheater can add the code in config file to remove wall (now it's wallhack). I think dev know about this issue, and they fixed it early so that nobody can modify in engine file. I believe they will add an in-game option to Mouse accel in future..

Nope there aren’t any unexpected issues, at most it’s visual bugs that can be fixed by not using the config files. They are just looking for excuses to justify removing the ability for PC players to enjoy their game

its a point to mention that you should limit your FPS to slightly higher than your monitor can actually display otherwise you are getting frames you cant see anyway and wasting precious pc usage D:

But if you get significantly higher fps then it cans reduce “frame delay” by having the next frame be a “newer” frame since you’re are generating more total frames and are therefore a slightly earlier frame on average.

Yeah it works very well. Make sure you set the config file to "read only" otherwise settings might override eachother, making it so you have to redo them

changed some settings and was getting 90-120 with some spikes so i capped it at 90 and its pretty consistent now. weird ping spikes of 450 and then back down to a steady 31. game freezes quickly and ive moved on the map. this was happening before i changed settings. any idea how to fix this or is it just the game? does exit lag make a difference on top of the changes in settings?

Should be capping your fps to your monitors refresh rate not it's lowest number, most monitors are 144 Hz and should be capped at 144 fps.

One thing to consider is turning off the allied health bars. Of course for support heroes you can keep it on, but everyone else it can make a difference sometimes not having random bars all over the place as it can create clutter, occasionally throwing off your aim. Hopefully one day the devs add an option for to the bars to activate at 50% health or something so they at least turn on when they might be useful in assisting a team mate rather than all the time.
