Just because I know almost nothing about this game, is Starfinder based on PF1, PF2, or is it a beast all of its own?

In my view, it's a beast on it's own but it's not too dissimilar from Pathfinder 2. I actually played it in pax east when it first came out and it was a lot of fun!

It's closer to Pathfinder 1st Edition but has some aspects that were expanded on in Pathfinder 2nd Edition.
