Thanks! I am expecting this kit shortly. This video will help me build it.

Very nice build. Well done on working through the kit's issues. Great looking Do-335. I rather like Hobby Boss especially their helicopter kits.

Thank you! It was quite challenging sometimes but still I never lost the motivation 😊

Great work on a rather basic HobbyBoss kit.. a perfect kit to practice new techniques, as you duly did!! :) End result is very good, in my humble opinion.. :)

Thanks a lot Rob! It was a nice project and a very interesting aircraft!

The small fairings in the horizontal tail are actually correct as depicted in the kit. Top on the right tail, bottom on the left. Not sure why this is, but photos confirm it is accurate.

Oh damn 😔 I wasn't sure because I did not find detailed photos of that area

It might be the accurate tail markings that are getting your videos hidden by KZbin. Certain symbols are "triggering". Great review and good build. Thanks.

Thanks man! This is the first video in which I showed Swastikas so that can't be the reason my other videos aren't shown 🤔

If you apply a clear gloss varnish before adding decals you can avoid slivering as a Matt finish can absorb water and affect the decals
@Starfishscalemodeling3 жыл бұрын
Yep, I always spray gloss before the decals.
@Juno583 жыл бұрын
@@Starfishscalemodeling I had NEVER silvering decals if i apply them on a glossy surface. You must do something wrong...
@Starfishscalemodeling3 жыл бұрын
@@Juno58 Yes looks like it. Which gloss varnish do you use?

Thank you! I don't know what's wrong with the KZbin algorithm - my old videos where my models looked terrible still get more views than my new stuff 😪 Please spread the word about my channel!

Very nice kit.

Nice build. Looks like the DML kit is more detailed and has fewer errors, but it has numerous fit issues and would require much more work to get the most out of.

Hi, I understand you did not put any load in the nose part of the plane? And it did not sit on its tail anyway? The model is well balanced?
@Starfishscalemodeling8 ай бұрын
I did not mention it in the video but this model definitely needs some nose weight!
@Michu324215 ай бұрын
Hello w how many hours does IT take yOu to make this model excluding drying time?
@Starfishscalemodeling5 ай бұрын
That's a good question! This one required a few corrections so it took me longer than usual. Most models take me a few months because I often don't find the time for building.

I can agree on the others, this build turned out quite nice. Looking on the Spitfire I built not too long ago I get a litte jealous about how your models turn out beautiful and mine are, well you can call them good. Do you have links to your airbrush and compressor? I think my first step in making them better is by switching to an airbrush. Just to remove the brush strokes. Uff mir ist gerade eingefallen dass ich ja deutsch schreiben kann. Egal bisschen Englisch kann ja nicht schaden. Viel Spaß noch mit deinen zukünftigen Modellen!
@Starfishscalemodeling3 жыл бұрын
@daschenner3 жыл бұрын
@@Starfishscalemodeling Jo danke. bin mir den Schwierigkeiten schon bewusst, war mir aber eben bei der Airbrush und dem Kompressor nicht sicher welche/welchen ich nehmen sollte.
@Starfishscalemodeling3 жыл бұрын
@@daschenner Also meiner is wie gesagt so ein billig Teil aber den verwende ich schon echt lange... Die Ultra Airbrush kostet etwa 70€ was man als Einsteiger-/Mittelklasse bezeichnen könnte; nach oben hin gibt's da natürlich kaum Grenzen
