Dr, I'm an albino, reading novel or bible is almost forgotten because I must bring it closer so so much to my face. If I'm in the church, and at the back row, I can only hear the priest but can't clearly see him, using my laptop is embarrassing in public because I must sit too close. I have been give glasses by a doctor but it gave me a 10%improvement. I can't drive because I can't clearly see the side mirror. I'm in Nigeria. Do you think I can get glasses to improve my sight.

I have helped many people with albinism see better with low vision glasses. I cannot say if they will help you because I do not know how much vision you have remaining. Why don't you show the video to your eye doctor and ask if they can send you to a doctor who prescribes low vision glasses? Good luck.

Unfortunately there is no cure for Stargardt.
