People like this make me question the gaming industry heavily. The gameplay is incredible, very thoughtful little lines. It’s probably one or two people as the main Devs and you wonder what would happen if they got a $50 million budget… I’m sure they would create a masterpiece. Wow. That was beyond amazing. The models, textures. SFXs, the addition of the original dialogs, animations....Everything. But what I think it makes this so beautifully unique is the sense of accurate scale within the city, something that even the show couldn't portray properly. My sincere compliments. Looking forward to play a demo!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I don't remember many scenes from the show where the huge scale of the city was shown as interestingly as here. Great work on the jumper shooting the enemies in the building.

I miss Atlantis dearly and its been many years since I gave up on them bringing it back even in a movie. A game however would be doable. Great job with the atmosphere and feel of Atlantis!

M g m are terrible at taking Developers who are accomplished and tend to always choose either the cheapest option or they pick up nobody's who end up swindling them out of there take. To be honest with you I don't even know if this guy is legit, I like what I see, but we've seen people make advertisements about things that never ended up being like what it looks like in that trailer before. And we have no idea who he is as a developer. Like is he on Steam somewhere or some major Gaming website does he have other work he could show? The only reason why they chose the developer that they're using right now is because he makes smaller type games and it's a well-established publisher and Dev creation person.

A lot of fans are waiting for another series or movies about stargate and I'm waiting and it makes me sad because I'm about to finish watching atlantis for the umpteenth time and stargate world has only 2 seasons and still it's known that everything was canceled :( And the game that is being made Stargate: Timekeepers is not what fans have been waiting for, but it's better than nothing, but the work that you did can be released on a larger scale and you know what? i'm rooting for you to make a game like the one in this video of course i'm not going to rush you or demand anything but just to remember it makes me happy that someone else believes in stargate as much as i do i hope

I think this looks a little goofy in third person, but it's not half bad, and I agree that it looks better than the freaking timekeepers game they're developing, this looks like a lot more fun then some stupid strategy game, especially if they're real time strategy, I'd much prefer a first-person or third-person shooter that allows all kinds of platforming capability, I hate a push and click type of game and we'll never get into that crap. I can tell most of this was heavily scripted, but it was still really nice to see, and I would like to see more.

It's shocking Stargate never got a proper AAA budget game with amazing visuals, the gate allows for pretty much endless story telling with plenty of lore to already draw from and with the PC and consoles now having NVMe storage with the ability to do instantaneous loading of worlds you could now make a game where you could step through the gate in one location and have a new game world loaded instantaneously without any loading screens. Never has there been a better time to make this type of game.

Thanks! You mean whole city to explore? No) City model is no big deal actually it’s more like a quick sketch. Building is a very simple geometry + copy/paste. I made them and corridor in about two weeks. Piers from other models I found on the Internet. And all of this is not tv-show accurate and needs to be rebuilt from scratch. Now I'm more interested in the gameplay, models will wait. Unless of course I give up)

I say the biggest things is legal things that would need to be looked at if he did make a go fund me account cause if he was making money off this project the owner of Stargate could easily go after him for any money he made. If it's a just a passion project where he doesn't make money off it then that's a different story. I say even before he wanted to release it for free I say wise thing he would have to probably would do is ask creator or owner of Stargate if it would be ok.

Stargate Game has literally limitless story telling potential... As the Stargate is a perfect plto divise to bring player to new places with any possible new atmosfear a writer wants them to be in..
