Typically, most of an atom's volume is empty space; in a Neutron Star, the intense gravity has crushed all the particles down to where there's no space in between. That's why a teaspoon of matter would weigh as much as a mountain, because if you crushed a mountain down to the point that all the particles were touching, it'd be a teaspoon.

A video full of nonsense. You can clearly tell that the creators have absolutely no clue, and I don't even know where to begin listing the mistakes. First, it is NOT a surprise that a neutron star has a solid surface. Second, black holes do not have 'density' in the traditional sense, as they are singularities. Third, and this is the biggest nonsense, the surface of NEUTRON stars is NOT made of iron, but, as the name suggests, of densely packed neutrons, and possibly in their core, quark-gluon plasma and even more exotic matter.
@bojkashapirax6283Ай бұрын
@@Deepneo 1. "Suprise" is a personal matter, 2. This is a nitpick which doesn't change the point in the slightest, 3. This is not supported by most modern models of a neutron stars surface. I knew a bit about neutron stars, but I certainly didn't expect such weird light-bending effects, especially to its sky and its surface! It's amazing that you can see the entire surface front-to-back. Another fun fact: the various layers of matter within a neutron star arrange themselves into shapes similar to various pasta noodles, from gnocchi to spaghetti to lasagna, which is why it's also called "Nuclear Pasta". It hasn't been observed directly aside from theoretical math formulas, but if it does indeed exist, nuclear pasta would be the strongest material in the universe.

Reject the untruths your mind has become familiar with. The comfort and familiarity. You actually know the truth. You know that it is easy to be selfish and it takes effort repeatedly to be unselfish. That is the key to escaping the gravity of depression. Stop obeying temporary feelings, and learn the laws of love. You are a human. Full of love. True love is active and unselfish. We got this, mate. Move forward. 🤝

@user-ox9zm5bk1e Its what you make it. A neutron star wouldn't change anything. Wherever you go, there you are.

Finally a video that shows exactly what I've been wanting to see--what it would be like if you could stand on the surface of a Nuetron Star. I'd love to see one like this but with the fastest rotating Nuetron star

that would look like speeding this video up to a total blur

@@seekvapes9641 You're not wrong. I believe the fastest one has a rotation speed of over 700 rotations per second. Perhaps a slower one is in order 😅

Pretty sure that if you were to get caught in the gravitational pull of a neutron star, you'd be flattened against its surface instantly. XD

People say time travel isn’t possible, but with Einstein’s theories… it does exist. Neutron stars and black holes hold the key to travel through time. When you look at light being bent in a neutron star, its gravity causes it to slow down and go around in circles for centuries, and because of that, we are seeing the far past of the universe seeing stars and galaxies that used to exist or still exist but in their younger eras. If we go inside the gravitational well, time relative will slow down and people outside us will see us in slow motion, but if you look up into the universe, you’ll see time pass very rapidly and once you leave, you’d have traveled into the future in just seconds relative to your space

Seeing into the past and going to the past are two different things.

While you’re doing a STELLAR job taking us on many journeys falling into celestial objects, may I make a few recommendations for future explorations? 🙂 Falling into a wormhole. Falling into a brown dwarf. Falling into a late-1800’s imagining of the Moon as it’s made of Swiss cheese. Falling into the Mariana Trench. Falling into the Death Star. Falling into Hot Topic. Falling into a planet-sized plastic ball-pit for adults minus the actual adults. Falling into debt. Falling into a comet. Keep up the great work! 👍

I love these videos. It may be ridiculously silly, but I’m terrified of large celestial bodies, apparently, and they usually send my heart racing and freak me out. But the indestructible suit and helmet UI are immensely soothing. I can watch these without feeling immense dread and anxiety. Honestly thank you so much 🙏

Very nice rendering. Beyond spaghettification (from which your indestructible suit protects you😊) I believe that from the surface, since it is a object of a few km in diameter, you would notice the curvature of the horizon. I don't see it...
