Imagine the mythologies of the beings living on those planets were the nebulae are so close.

Now this is cool! You should do more videos about nebulas in space engine! And discuss the posibility of life in them...

Some of these may be much larger than the portion lit up by nearby stars that we can see. It's worth remembering that gas and dust (what nebulae are made out of) outweighs stars in our galaxy by about ten times. It might even be accurate to view galaxies as nebulae that have formed a bunch of stars.

This video gleans a bit of insight into how Nebulae grow, we go from smallest to largest and I’m pretty sure youngest to oldest too. They seem to bulge out in every which way as time goes on, leaving them to go from spherical to randomly bubbled I love space

Imagine how screwed we would be if we were inside one of these nebula? We would have an obstructed view of the universe and no feasible way to know what was outside it for the foreseeable future. We would think the nebula was the universe… then again maybe the current universe we see now IS obstructed some way and we cannot see the grander existence

Sad to realize the Pillars Of Creation are, most likely, already gone. Blown apart from a nearby nova event. We just won't see it for another 3000+ years.

What's a Nebula?
@Omnywrench6 ай бұрын
A nebula is a gigantic cloud of gasses and dust, measuring light years in size. They are where stars are "born", when enough of their matter condenses under gravity to form stars. Of course, many of them aren't nearly as colorful or as bright as the ones in this video, in fact many are practically invisible against the void of space. many pictures of nebulae either have their colors enhanced well beyond what human eyes can detect, or are taken with special filters like ultraviolet or x-ray spectrum to better see what sort of elements and temperatures make up the different parts of a nebula.
