This camping style is good, brings the family close together, no tv, no phones, just you and the family like peas in a pod.😀

That is certainly one of the charms of the stargazing pods, it was really nice to see families just spending time with each other and kids playing around, and George and Charlie loved that bit of freedom to get out and around the pods 😊

Very good video guys. Similar to Loch Tay Wigwams except they have a TV, toaster, kettle and microwave and a fire pit. I think Alton Towers need a camper's kitchen (if they don't have one already).
@TimeForAdventure3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Fiona, we have just looked at Loch Tay Wigwams and they look great! now on our list for a future Adventure! There isn't a campers kitchen but that is a great idea, if you do plan to visid the Stargazing pods the eating options are in the close by Crooked Spoon (Woodland Lodges) or there are other restaurants in the Alton Towers Hotel and Splash Landings only a 5 minute walk away 🙂

Great pods . Wicker man front or back row

Great video, I think I'll like this, might try to get one booked for next summer. What's the best booking process as I find the alton towers website booking a bit crappy, I want to know dates the pods are free instead of me choosing a date to find out there's nothing available.
@TimeForAdventure5 жыл бұрын
Thanks @Joe Griffin, We enjoyed our stay and if you like that camping / glamping type of adventure you should too. Unfortunately the only way we know to book is the website but there is usually good availability on the pods we've found throughout the season so far

The place looks fun but the pods are way too small 🙈
@TimeForAdventure5 жыл бұрын
They are a little small but whilst small the boys enjoyed the novelty of the camping feel and the adventure that doing anything and everything was because it wasnt in the room

I do really want to try these I just don't fancy the walk to the loos in the dark at midnight!
@TimeForAdventure3 жыл бұрын
Hi Insert Penguin, we found that there was enough light that you could see where you were going and generally around the area but its definitely got that camp site feel of needing to take a journey in the middle of the night if you need the toilet 😊

How far from the roller coaster restaurant is it? Does anyone know?
@TimeForAdventure2 жыл бұрын
Hi Charlotte, all of the accommodation options are only a short walk back to the Rollercoaster Restaurant. In the evenings they have the gate open between the car park and Galactica that lets you stright in next to it. If you have already visited we hope you had a fantastic time, we love the roller coaster restaurant! 🙂

Very excited to go here next week, looks great, is it easy to get to and from the actual park, and can you park near the pods whilst you spend the days at the park?
@TimeForAdventure3 жыл бұрын
Hi Emily, Yes there is parking near the pods, its the furthest car park that is also near the Woodland Lodges. Getting to the park is easy enough, the pods are close to the other accommodation so its only a short walk to the monorail or around 30 minutes walk to the park gates. We hope you have a fab time 🙂
@LG-Musique3 жыл бұрын
Not sure if you’ve already gone, but just to let you know, there’s a pedestrian path round the back of the monorail, past the extraordinary golf which takes you to an alternative gate into the park for guests that are staying over

Hi @Beatrix Haigh, Its about 5/10 minutes to the monorail and from there it would be a 20 / 30 minute walk depending on how fast your walking. We hope you like the vlog, dont forget to subscribe, were trying hard to hit 100! 😊

The pods definitely give a more camping feel to the experience we enjoyed as something different, we also prefer the hotels in comparison but it is good to see a different kind of accomodation. Thanks for watching 😊

Going there in a few days can anyone clarify the stargazing element? Lol how are you meant to stargaze without any ceiling windows? Very misleading name from what I can see in video. Hahaha
@TimeForAdventure2 жыл бұрын
We hope you had a good stay. We think it is more that you could stargaze whilst staying in the pods because it's outdoor opposed to a hotel. There should now be some telescopes installed that could be used if the stars were out for you to look through, this and the play area were under construction / to be installed later at the time of our stay and and filming this vlog.

Where are the toilets
@TimeForAdventure3 жыл бұрын
The toilet and shower building is at the back of the Stargazing Pods site, between the pods and the Enchanted Village. All pods are only a short walk away 🙂
