I shall try to get back there in 2023 but avoid the high Summer due to bitting insects....lots of them!In 2022, August I think, I got the bus to Glentrool and camped out in my bivvy bag and I was breathing in black flies!But M33 was just naked eye and Uranus too but hard to focus with the insects!I had my Helios Starfield 2x40 wide field binoculars and Zeiss Mini Quick 5x10 monocular.Strangley, despite it's small size,I mainly used the 5x10 as the bigger lenses on the binoculars would dew up in minutes but the dew found it hard to target the puny 10mm lense!
