I picked group 1, and omg, when she mentioned that sometimes people with childhood trauma romanticize bad relationships, but this soulmate isn’t going to be that, I was shocked. I have a lot of childhood trauma, continued my trauma as an adult in my romantic relationships. I have chosen the wrong people because of this and romanticized them, and I would always fear that what if I’m doing the same thing whenever I start dating a guy. I just got out of a toxic relationship a few months ago, and it’s been really hard to move on. When she said you’re going through a transformation, she is dead on! I haven’t stopped talking to guys or dating for 9 years in a row-cuz I’m a love addict, and I felt like I couldn’t be alone, and I wasn’t able to survive on my own. I’m finally being alone and moving on from the breakup alone, while in a DBT therapy program that is helping a lot. I’m finally finding who I am and developing myself. I was codependent with my mom growing up, and then the same with guys for almost a decade, and now I’m discovering what it means to be alone and who I am-separate from other people. So when she said this won’t be that kind of romanticizing a bad relationship thing, that really felt spot on with me because not only have I completely done that throughout all of my dating history, but with all this therapy and self work, I would think I won’t be doing that unhealthy behavior anymore when I’m ready to date again. I’ve realized when you cut off the dependency from relationships, you realize that you maybe didn’t wanna date certain people as much or weren’t ready to move on from an ex, but you thought you were because of the desperation and need to be fully dependent on someone. I hope soon that things will be completely different for me. Being alone has made me realize that I am more introverted, and don’t necessarily want to be around a lot of people, which she also said about group 1. I used to, but as years have gone on, I don’t like to that much, and a lot of people annoy me in general lol plus like she said, I’m emotionally sensitive. I am a bit late watching this, but I met up with a guy in November 27, 2 weeks after I broke up with my on and off bf. You did mentioned that I would be in a relationship when I met this person. I would say that is half true? But I’m not a cheater lol. He is a church boy and has build a youth church with his friends, as you mentioned this person might be into religion or spirituality.
