Words cannot explain how much I agree with that. Jimmy’s death was so unsatisfactory. I want to see this nigga SUFFER! Curly didn’t help Anya, yeah, but I understand curly’s character. The need to be on everyone’s side even if that means putting yourself down. That’s why I understood him and that’s also why I get it. But like.

In short, the whole game is a story about the suffering of the entire crew, and Curly suffered the most. What did he do to deserve this? He was painfully kind and forgiving and turned a blind eye to everything bad.

Not to say he deserved what happened, but he did do some messed up stuff to end up in this situation. It didn't come outta nowhere.

@@fruityfruitpunch another thing that also gets missed often is that he had been longtime friends with Jimmy, even though he knew about his questionable and erratic behavior he still chose to let him on the ship. He knew Jimmy was a risk and he still chose to take it, which eventually to the crews deaths. Additionally, he still let Jimmy into the medical bay and seemingly didn’t make any attempt to seperate the two after he assaulted her, as Anya asks jimmy to keep him from going into the medical bay in one of the flashbacks. I wonder why they kept a gun but not handcuffs on the ship. Putting Jimmy in a prison/handcuffs/confinement after what he did to Anya would have been perfect, but of course Pony Express is garbage at everything.

@@theerealist5990I agree 100% that curly should have done something- even with lack of cuffs or anything they had rope in the cockpit as well as FUNCTIONING CRYOSTASIS PODS? I know he'd been friends with him a long time but in all honesty I think he should have put jimmy in a cryopod for the remainder of the voyage as soon as curly found out that he'd been assaulting Anya. Safest for all parties, Jimmy's asleep which probably make Curly not feel as guilty for putting him there, and it would certainly be easier on all of the crew to not have to deal with that asshole being conscious.

This legit gave me chills. This is one of my favorite Mother Mother songs so I was curious about how “the young ones” lyric would be used. I should have seen it coming but the way you depicted it still floored me. Brilliant work, truly. He did, yes! Because I believe the cog wheels were apart of the hallucination Jimmy was having at the moment, (and I also saw as a metaphor for how hard it was to force it down Curly’s digestive system,) I had it in tandem with the birthday scene - Specifically, I put it during “He’ll have but nothing to talk about,” (him choking on the cut of his leg, also because he’s laying down, it’s hard to swallow when you’re laid down) “He won’t be able to flap his mouth!” (Jimmy lifting his head to close his mouth on the piece) - During the birthday sequence I drew, you can also probably see that Curly gets more of his outline color around his mouth in lines, that’s saliva and his own blood from the cut Jimmy took of him to feed him! :)
