Actually Multiverse Captain Cold negates Armor Piercing entirely for Multiverse teammates at 5 stars and when combined with Grid and the fact MVCC doesn't need to be on the field entirely means that you have a team that pretty much negates Justice League team entirely.

MVCC is nerfed now...the first point which mentions armour pierce resistance is removed and if you want his AP resistance you need to play him in the combat

Multiverse Captain Cold gives Armour Pierce resistance to all Multiverse teammates. That's why Predator Batman's special did little damage because there wasn't Armor Piercing on it
