For this first time, Starita collaborates with multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, and producer Otis McDonald (aka Joe Bagale), to release a remix single 'The Wake Up Re-Call,' featuring a dynamic roster of MCs - Illa J, Zay Bcuz and NicX. This track along with an impressive lineup of music tastemakers including Ben Leinbach and L0V3star will be showcased on the forthcoming remix EP, targeted to drop September 30th, 2022.
This remix is a case for Otis McDonald’s masterful musicianship and range; taking Starita’s original textured, moody, dark, introspective, ambient track, 'The Wake Up Call,' and flipping it into a contrastingly different - gritty, funky, soulful, hip-hop interpretation. The addition of the eclectic vocal styles of MCs - Illa J, Zay Bcuz, and NicX make for an unforgettable head knockin’ reinterpretation.
