He's Brian Rosenthal. That's why. Actually no, to be honest I think it's just a prop for his costume. He's kind of got that 'old english' look to him, and people in old english carried umbrellas with them. Or so I've heard, feel free to correct me on that.

"Sami" is a song originally written by Darren Criss, I believe it was featured in the Starkid web show Little White Lie, but it was also in A Very Potter Musical sung by Ginny with the name changed Harry. They use Sami as a reference to Darren's original 😁

Sami was from Little White Lies, a show they did way back in 2009 (I think it was for a project or something). You can watch it on YT, but basically, Sami's the protagonist and this kid wrote this song about her and then she- well, watch the show, but she did a Bad.
