I really like this version, particularly because of how clear everything is. You can pinpoint pretty much every scene that pops up, as opposed to the older one. And this one still has the flare that made me fall in the love with the first.

Uploading this one early since I will be busy this Halloween. Took the feedback from my remake of Bloodborne GMV and tried to keep this as faithful to the original gmv as possible. Added DLC content in place of the footage from trailers or clips where I could'nt re-capture a scene in HD quality. As always, I hope ya'll enjoy and have a Happy Halloween!

So I imagine this video was made as a love letter to the original song and I appreciate it for that. For a while I didn't notice this video pinned in the comments of the other. After just now watching it my initial observation is that this video is much cleaner than the original. I think that was the intention, maybe to show the growth of the video creator over time and that's fine. But I want to explain why I prefer the original, which might be a strange opinion. The song and the voice overs and sound effects from the original were much louder and more jarring than in this one. This one is much smoother, visually pleasing and cleaner as I said. But in these changes I feel like the video lacks some of the energy of the original that just sucks me in. I was straining to hear the voice overs and the song especially secluded to the background almost. And because i was trying so hard i didnt get pulled into the engrossing euphoria and nostalgia the orginial video makes me feel. The song and game this video was composed from aren't really clean themselves. So even if it wasn't intended in the original development of the original video it captured that raw energy and grittiness of the two art forms. That's why the song and video match so well in my opinion. While the new video certainly isn't bad, it's mostly the same, with utmost respect, I think I'll always prefer the original.

#Ex{TR}eme# all gameplay was recorded by me. Used the default Armor / Scythes from the game intro to the credits. I like my videos to be authentic, so I avoid character customization in any game I plan to record footage for.

Did you just go through the game without changing gear or was this done on a new game+? If the former, how tough was it with just the starting scythes?

I did this without changing the gear. As for difficulty, I don’t remember. Safe to say it was way tougher than if I was properly geared for each section.
