I was looking around for Halloween inspiration for themes to research in putting together my vintage listings and found this artist Bethany Lowe designs. THEN I found an Etsy seller literally selling the Bethany Lowe 2024 collection passing it off as vintage. Ugh! Enough research for today!

The fuzzy stuff is called “flocking.” The items are flocked. 😀 I grew up in the 70s, and have to say that the Halloween stuff in the 70s looked nothing like these new store items. Not even remotely. I get “70s inspired,” but it sure isn’t representative of the 70s look. The cute ghosts - just maybe - Hallmark had similarly-shaped ones then - but not much else. This is not to say they aren’t cute on their own, but they just don’t say 70s. 👻🎃Love all the other themes, though!! Super inspirational video. I’m itching to craft some Halloween!!

NO TO PINK! But, I have to give these manufacturers credit for trying to convince people that Halloween colors need to change and that we all should go out and rebuy everything. They need to make money somehow. I mean, Halloween stuff IS very easy to use every year because it really doesn't change (and shouldn't). Nice try, but I am not convinced.
