Starlink- Offgrid Internet For Rural Hillbillies!

We are incredible blessed!! The local telephone company installed fiber about 5 or 6 years ago now. We started at 200 Mbps download. We switched to 500 Mbps a little after that. About a year or so ago they emailed and said everyone with 500 was getting bumped to 600 at no additional cost. I did a speed test yesterday and got 640 Mbps down and 655 Mbps up. Prior to the fiber being installed the fastest we could get was 10 Mbps.

Yeah man follow up , I travel back home to my dads , no service there. I thought about star link travel pkg, so I dint leave it at his house I can use it in my camper too while traveling. Thx 4 video

This is interesting Cornbread, a lot of my kin live in areas where the hills and hollers affect what internet they can get, one of my cousins has some type of internet, I can't remember what, but she can only use one device at a time. In the summer of 2023 I saw a starlink train for the first time (I thought they were aliens👽👽). In the following days I saw a few more. I even checked websites with starlink sighting schedules. And then they disappeared.🤷🏻 I think the company reduced the light reflection of the satellites due to complaints from astronomy observatories 🔭
