It doesn't matter how powerful you are, there are some people you just don't piss off in this world. SAS are among those. Shepherd got what was coming to him, but now I can't help but wonder where the story will go from here. One thing is for certain, I'm sure this isn't the last we've seen of Price and Soap. Excellent walkthrough, as always! :)

Alas, don't get too many hopes up in the sequel. Lots of story elements in this game seemed to have been aborted due to an almost scandalous change in devs... long story on that, but there should be news articles that would have made fine records of what happened between Vince Zampella and Jason West.

Sorry, Price. If I had my way in this game, I would sided all the way for Shepherd's truth, and same for his offscreen manipulative superiors on the West's martial echelons... wish this mission and the sequel kept them as is. And I don't even care if that truth would have led to a backlash which creates a China-led "Strategic Defense Coalition". They too could have been taken care of in due time via a Dispatch mission on Peshawar, Pakistan. Mission title's got a nice ring to it, if Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, Young Justice, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe use it lots. Still wish the Intel gives you lore stuff, akin to Black Ops. Hope you'll read those over when you reach that game, SM. 5:06: Really cold. 5:25: Trying to do what Soap did to Imran, aren't you, SC guy? 6:00: Here's a nice tidbit about the cut "Shepherd rambles" bits I mentioned on previous comments from TV Tropes: *"The final battle against General Shepherd, which is a 'Cutscene Boss' in the finished game, was originally a legitimate boss fight, where you engaged in a 1 vs. 1 gunfight against him in a Rust area, while he ranted and explained that he and/or the US government had been manipulating the Ultranationalists in the previous game. Going by the subtitles and developer text, it would have also had you playing as Price, rather than retaining control of Soap, though it evidently still would have ended with Shepherd stabbing your character in the chest."* 7:34: That hurt. Such is how pain feels when you're not someone like the Doom Slayer or B.J. Blazkowicz. 7:43: It's all coming together now, yet it won't be the last callback. 7:50: And later on, they end up stopping to pay respects for the dead. Not unlike how America got foolishly demonized by many ungrateful nations and peoples because of simple stumbles like the Vietnam War, the War of Terror, Enduring Freedom, and so on... 7:57: ... amen to that... 8:09: ... damn you, Price. 9:00: Visceral, I know, and good thing it's surprisingly not one of those quick-time events prevalent then. 9:43: What would have happened had it been the hilt instead... well, that's that, somewhat like the doom of Imran Zakhaev five years ago. 11:09: A huge shame the "international criminals" angle for the disavowed Task Force 141 is left unused in MW3 2011. Seeing Foley's squad hunt down the boys or the boys constantly evading Foley's squad whilst doing some good against Makarov would have been a neater outcome, even if extremely convoluted. Oh, well, can't be helped, the main makers of this game either being fired or quitting to form the likes of Respawn Entertainment, while the third game had to make do with a different dev team and more. 11:14: A Russian Loyalist remnant hospital in Himachal Pradesh, India, to be precise. *To Be Continued.* 12:31: That moment pertaining to Makarov grabbing hold of his crony is actually what partially happens in the black screen start of "No Russian". Voice actors at 13:36. Here's an interesting credits bit: Hans Zimmer only did the main theme for the game, the others are by Lorne Balfe. Make of that what you will. Will expect your own take on Museum later on, I guess. 17:01: You gonna continue to those parts of the game in your free time?
