Sir Keir Starmer called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza following an Israeli air strike in the area of Rafah in southern Gaza that killed dozens of Palestinians. Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, said the strike was not intended to cause civilian casualties and would be investigated.
