I don’t see how this will save save you money on power, except maybe they will shut off whatever is plugged into it at peak times, which is frankly kind of ridiculous

there is no ongoing cost for this. I am just earning testnet tokens still, so no value for them yet until the project goes live which is supposed to happen in the next few months. Will do an update info on profitability when it does.

I was thinking I would get one but I'm kind of sceptical of plugging it into my house, would it be that someone could hack it if its a smart plug and hack the wifi and details? or how legitimate is the company. Just a concern I have although I do agree for the price definitely worth trying, just security concerns for me

Unless you have one in every plug they cant balance power, as always dubious of these depins, maybe better than the water one ive seen. My concern with these is the quality of the electricals inside, be careful and any signs of heat damage, warmness or browning unplug.
