Since Rajat tokas is playing the character of Chandragupta that is why nobody is speaking up about him but I think Chandragupta is a fully fledged monster in this episode specifically. They made Nandini fall in love so quickly which I find meaningless honestly. Chandragupta has always been suspicious of Nandini and Nandini never honestly took her revenge apart from the Haldi rasam. I find that female characters are always made weak and submissive and male leads are dominating and impulsive and monsterous too to some extent. This episode made me vigilant for real.

He left her on the road on her fate, devoid of any family and penury. It's Chanakya who took pity on her and told Chandragupta to accept her as his wife. Source- Parishisth Parvan But audiences were loving Chandra with Durdhara and Helena so they made Helena negative.

@@C_Stories Nandini of this show is totally fictional but a Nand Nandini which means daughter of Nanda did exist. That daughter of Nanda fell in love with Chandragupta's handsomeness at first sight. But he rejected her love due to an accident which broke his Chariot's wheel. He called her inauspicious and abandoned her alone on the road. Chanakya told him to marry the daughter of Nanda as she was auspicious.
