My husband died of liver cancer, and I can tell you that my son made a promise to him to do just with the boy says in the song that he would chase away the monsters that might come after me or family. My son is never once broken that promise and was the one holding his hand as he died in bed. This song so needed and so unheard, it brings reality back to the world

Thank you, Starr, for sharing your reaction to Tongi's audition, and also his Showstopper 'Sound of Silence'. Allowing your emotions to be so present and real is part of the strength of the 'reaction' genre...as most people want to see people's genuine emotions...not watch to see whether you fear to let people witness you cry. Far too many reaction videographers try to NOT cry in the midst of powerfully meaningful flow of information...part of the messed up masculinity too many males internalized from other males...and part of women trying to preserve makeup. Be real...let the emotions flow. It always feels better. Tongi's performance and size remind many folks of another Hawaiian singer, Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole who died a number of years ago...way too young. Look up his 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' and you'll see the similarity.
