Amybeth is Anne. That actress brought her to life and makes you fall in love with her. Cheer for her and see her bloom into a beautiful smart young woman. I think Amybeth did a perfect job in doing exactly what the author wanted us to see in Anne. Amybeth deserves a prize for this. Shes one of the best actresses I've seen. In fact they all were great. The whole cast. Beautifully acted by all of them they all did a good job in bringing the characters into life, but the main character Anne, Amybeth nailed it! That girl can act.

I seriously don't understand Netflix's decision to cancel the show, even with its popularity and large viewing, and the love that this show received. Apparently its because there weren't enough viewers in the 24-50 year old audiences, but it's a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl. Why would 50 year olds watch it???(Edit: Ignorant me forgot the show was based on books written years ago). It's such a breath of fresh air from the shows that are typically on now, and the fact that Riverdale keeps getting renewed but Anne With An E didn't absolutely baffles me.

I know it has nothing to do with Shirbert but i gotta say that i really like Amybeth as Anne.I think she brings some things from Anne of the books that other actresses didn't.I know it had a lot of Annes but i just watched short videos about them so i can really talk about Megan Follows,and she was amazing of course and i think she had beautiful eyes,like,she had some magic in them,the way she expressed her self,she brought the sweet said of Anne,and she was a fantastic actress but there's no denying that she was gorgeous and if you read the books you'll see that Anne's beauty is something that every one desagrees,like,she is not the "normal"kind of beauty,her beauty is different,the way L.M.Montgomery discribes her is very poetic and pretty but resuming,the way she looks is not like the other girls,and i really love that Amybeth is like that since the beggining,Anne's beauty is in other things,like,the way she moves,the way she speaks and the little details that Megan was really good at despite of being "beautiful",i'm not saying Amybeth isn't beautiful,i always tought she had a different beauty,i don't how to explain,everything about her is attractive and pretty but is really like the books,only if you really know her well you can see her beauty(that"s L.M.Montgomery words,not mine).I really like Megan and Amybeth,for me,the two best Annes of all time,each one have what lack in the other,cause...no acting is perfect and everyone do it in your own way.

@@diddodi like i said i think Megan was the "sweet Anne" that exists the books,i think they focused in that,that's why they picked Megan,she was a master of being the gentle and kind Anne,but Anne is a lot of things,sweet of course but also impulsive and strong,and i think that's the specialty of Amybeth,her best scenes in my opinion are when she is asked to be a little agressive and passionate,although she is a good "sweet Anne",that's why i think Megan AND Amybeth together are Anne,for me when i think about Anne in love or sad,i think about Megan,and when i think about Anne determined and dramatic i think about Amybeth.

there is hope. The writers seem to have set it up so that Gilbert has to make a decision without knowing Anne's true feelings. Now when he doesn't ask Miss Winibeauty to marry him then his feelings for Anne will be well and truly proven. Mind you I live in the UK and am having to piece all this together based on KZbin edits and comments - it's been a forensic task but I'm confident that the pen will bring him back to Anne :-) He's too decent a chap to ask Miss PrettyFred to marry him when he's in love with someone else. imho

If you watch in okfreemovies.com, your not too far off. In episode 9 theres some beautiful soul searching walking around Avonlea that Gilbert does. My favorite shot is the bag of the engagement ring a seashell he found at the ruins of Anne's writing clubhouse that he took, sitting side by side on his nights stand. The velvet ring bag pristine and decadent look and Anne's shell weather worn but still naturally beautiful. It's a wonderful metaphor.

Rarely does a show resonate so deeply with me. The messages it sends to viewers are very much impactful; it's such a shame not to continue. I believe that with shows like this is how we should try mold the minds of the youth.
