i found a little skip in mount awesome (its not that quick but its consistent) usually at the final stretch theres that one jump at the start where you jump on a platform get a bomb and jump back to continue( 3:51 ) but heres the skip: instead of jumping to the second platform, roll spring on the first one and get the bomb, then dive back on the first platform, its hella easier

Watch a sub 1:10 run like mine or shaq's WR 1:03.46 run. Those runs show all the skips including the one you are talking about and shaq's shows other strategies to save time.

I only made this video because a lot of people ask for help in the discord and I wanted a singular place to point to. I would recommend talking in the discord if you want to know more. There are a lot of skips that aren't included like the faster raven skip, two concatta skips, a faster way to preform the canyon skip, the second canyon skip, a better forbidden kingdom ending skip, final stretch bounce pad skip, and other tiny skips. I can make a video about all the skips but that doesn't really have longevity and I don't want to constantly remake it or add to it.

This is called a roll spring. Hold shift when you dive to enter a roll. Jump mid roll and you gain extra height.

that first part of the skip in fractured citadel is straight up impossible, the movement system had to have been changed somehow

I am not really sure what you are referring to. If you haven't been keeping up with the news in the discord server, roll springing underwent some massive changes since v0.9.776. Roll springing is practically where it was before though except it is more consistent. The only part of the skip that isn't possible anymore is the bottom area near the end teleports you now. But you can also just make the jump to the top instead with a roll spring. The alternative skip in the description video shows another major skip you can do in combination with this one.

I am guessing you are referring to a roll spring. Jump Hold shift to dive then enter a roll when you land Jump mid roll
