Absolutely beautiful. The real deal. I have always been amazed by these type of dances, that have shaped and evolved many modern dancing. However, it is tradition like this that has the X Factor, or in my language, te ihi, te wehi, te wana (the inspiration, expression, the feeling). Highest compliment in my culture. Noho ora mai (be well).

Agree with you. I spent years dancing with a group that solely danced Egyptian Folklore and to study the Golden Era was part of that. Dancing today in some countries is more like gymnastics and takes away the beauty of the 💃 dance
