17:09 YES! I love the feel of older, classic combat (good examples of it) more than over-complicated systems that just feel less connected to my controlling of it (and I've enjoyed some complicated combat systems but it is not always, and rarely, the better option IMHO). ❤❤❤

I absolutely love the concept but it does sound super ambitious. If the production value and polish is there despite all of the things going on and if the game looks and feels good to play then you've sold me completely.

I am anxious to see how this plays out. The biggest gap I can see is the idea of hundreds of worlds which to me equates to thin amounts of players spread too far out with no central social hub. Even in SWG there were only a handful of planets but even then players would still gather in what became designated watering holes typically to socialize, group and decide what you wanted to go do.

Thank you guys for remembering that MMOs were supposed to be virtual worlds. Seeing Koster in these comments saying SWG2 is a dream come true. Wondering about the monetization, though, as I feel that any in-world purchase with real money destroys the sandbox (yes even cosmetics). Good luck.

So it was already confirmed that these graphics are placeholders and will see a huge overhaul which is good. I hope the game will look good enough in order to exhibit a unique atmosphere and won't look generic. The worst thing that could happen is a game that looks and feels like a level editor. If there is too much freedom without constaints it will feel arbitrary rather than immersive.

This is not the usual model of beta > beta testing > open beta > launch. We are roughly one month from closed player testing but it will be focused tests of feature sets. We are pre-alpha and looking for early feedback. "Beta testing" as you specify above is a long way off still. No dates are available.

@raphkoster4490 I'm with jason on this, bounty hunting and being hunted really got the heart pumping! I'm hearing a lot about the social aspects of the game but what about the anti-social ones. Can I form a guild a griefers travelling from planet to planet burning forests and causing general wanton destruction, how's the game going to cope with that? Asking for a friend. ;)

Sounds interesting but clearly not for me. I'm more on solo side, especially when playing western online games. Different cultures and that sort of things. So, I wish you guys the best. More fun game is better than fewer one.

I think you may be missing one of the points here: you can play any way you want. One of their game design goals is to provide a universe where solo players will enjoy playing this game as much as people who prefer to group up.

its like a more combat oriented palia. hope it has all the guild raiding stuff so it can grab all those small 10man groups ready for a new mmo home. the colors and artstyle are too bold and clashing and kiddie, if u mellow the art out, you'll get a bigger audience i believe. nobody wants to invest weeks months into a silly aesthetic
