Armada Starscream is the best version because the fact of it shows how those who dealt with abusive parents or leaders can and do better than those who abused them. Especially how he treated the minicons. He saw them as if they were children. In need of a parent or even just a friend. Real friends share the good things in life with others. Even to the end.

This version of Starscream was a 1 in 1 million. He actually cared about the minicons he cared about humans, and even though for a brief time, he was fighting alongside the autobox against Megatron. He cared about all of Cybertron. And he did something that I don’t think another Starscream will ever do. He sacrifice himself doing something that he knew was going to get him killed, and he did it because it was the only way he could get both Optimus and Megatron’s attention on what the real threat was.

In his last, selfless act, he made sure that Swindle wouldn't get caught in the Destroyer's attack. I would have liked to see that right before Unicron was destroyed, to have him looking down at Swindle before an apparition of Starscream shows up to let the Minicon blast him to bits!
