Set all non-missile weapons to autofire, then switch to your missile group. All you gotta do now is keep the target within gimbal limits. If you keep missing an agile target just turn into the direction it's moving. Since the turret AI isn't 100% accurate you can offset the firing pattern slightly.

Very much enjoying the series as a newb player. One of my newest tricks I discovered in v.95 is the permanent hull mod. Using a story point I'll turn my slowest ship (Collosus freighter) into a fast one by permanent installing Augmented drives for +2 speed then equip militarized subsystems to keep the sensor profile down. You get a ton of experience for free doing this plus bonus xp. Wish I figured it out sooner, will upgrade my survey ship to be fast in the same way.
