Thank you for making this video, it's hard to get information on the Edge grinders. Would you be able to do a comparison of the grinding noise between the Edge Plus and the Niche zero please?

I will try, as I liked the edge more than the edge plus, so I only kept the edge on my counter, but will try to put my hands on the plus again and do the sound comparison.

Amazing review, can you please tell me which is better to buy Starseeker or Baratza Sette 270 with offer around (350 USD) mainly for espresso and occasional Filter coffee

I tried both, Starseeker is more reliable for me, stepless adjustment, quiet sound , all metal, bigger burr size, single dose, magnetic chute, bellow. The sette 270 is good but very loud, smaller burr size, PLASTIC parts, stepped, big hopper means you won't easily switch beans, overtime you keep.go8ng finer forcibly untill you reach zero, and you keep on shimming it, and this results into alot of clumps in your grinds. I don't care about the screen or the presets because the core is the grinding and the reliability, not the fancy settings.

I did buy starseeker plus and its grinding wery nice. But I cant find the right setting for good espersso. I have Gaggia classic 2019. espresso comes out sour and bitter. I use medium roast coffee seeds from Uganda. Will You suggest anything to fix this problem? Thanks anyway

In my testing so far, espresso falls between 3-10, depending on the beans and the basket I use. Some beans are more dense than others. Hence, they require coarser settings.

If your budget allows, get the E55. It's going to serve you very well, and will be there if you try any other brewing methods as well.

Just bought the Edge plus and does not work. I can't even turn the grinder level

Make sure the burrs aren't in a complete close position. Try to unplug the grinder and open the collar, remove the top burr then run the grinder to make sure if the motor is working or not, then install it properly and see of that helps.

Hello, have you had any alignment issues with the Edge? I tried a Baratza Encore Esp and had a number of issues out of the box and had to return it, so I am looking for a grinder that either does not require much tinkering or is easy to take apart.

Both are conical burrs, and no alignment is required.

It has great clarity compared to the Niche in espresso, and filter coffee is non comparable due to the very low rpm, which delivers excellent fikter coffee.

I kept the edge only, I love the clarity it provides, very flavourful cups in comparison to DF64v and Niche. I think this is due to the low rpm.

The edge plus was only us$300 to you? The price has jumped up to $470. Also, I know this isn’t that important. But the edge+ sounds like a toy car’s motor. Just very unpleasant, like it has cheap internals.
