Thanks! (the band provides a 'youtube toolkit' with some of the edit you see - shhh it's a secret) But I was pleasantly surprised by the novel. The writing was well done and it didn't play on too many cliche's. It was a bit predictable at times but i didn't expect it to be mind-blowing.

Well, I needed a quick read after finally checking out The Name of the Wind, and I picked the novel version up on your recommendation. It's a good read! Could've used another editing pass for a couple of things, but it was thoroughly intriguing and engaging. Pretty sure I recognize the CreateSpace (now Amazon) printing from my own books, too. Thanks for reminding me that this exists! Will have to check out the graphic novel at some point.

Yeah, I knew about the band and saw them play a local concert. Then i saw the novel for say and i was like 'whaaaaaaaaat' - So i was real curious how it came to be. It's still a bit of a mystery but I love it and I love the band's music. Perhaps they'll be another installment.
