The first thing I thought when this video started was how poor of a concept it was. Each player is different, and their bills should reflect how they play. I tend to be hyper-aggressive which doesn't alot for much in ranged combat. The second line you said, regained my attention and i appreciate you posting out that these concepts are your theory craft and how you hope your lessons learned can be applied to other people's builds. You have just turned to subscriber.

Great army breakdown! I'm not great at making lists so seeing categorization like this will hopefully improve how I make lists in the future! A phrase i've started to coin more and more is "The enemy of optimization is randomness", which makes it so that I'm a little bit on the defense on including DDAs or Doomstalkers. The "roulette" with attacks or damage is just too swingy and can make or break a game. It's probably usually better to have something that is in the middle, but the high AP on DDA really can make a differance.

Yea the DDA's are super nice, making +1 and blast is a little less then a feel bad. So minimum you are getting 2 shots but still

Man appreciate you spending the time watching! Yes shadow looms are the way to go for this list. Mainly because tomb blades roll are just in the list for scoring and primary denial

Hey! Good break down on your thoughts! You are a braver man than me, id run at least 5 immortals with Imotekh perhaps instead of the hexmark. Also due to only owing 1 Doomsday Ark i'll be trying 1 Doom Scythe. Almost always the option to shot at something on a objective the turn it shows up and if close to TSK or CCB + reroll enhancement it should be quite efficient (perhaps not 230 p efficient but still).

haha honestly not a bad option, this combo was mainly in the list for triple exo matchup which I ran into last GT and was so glad I had him. But I don't know if there are any indirect threats in the meta currently outside of CK maybe

Hello great video👍, i have a question how do you secure your back line? Because only two model it's maybe not enough, don't you think a 5man unit of deathmark or immortals would be better? Second question is which ability of the silent king do you use? Is it always ignore mods?

You definitely could, main thing you are worried about is indirect on home field and a unit dropping in your backfield. A lot of times your opponent can drop in one and take care of a unit but not both. Most of the time rerolls, but if going against DG its ignore mods most of the time. Matchup dependent

What is your view on the skill floor of Starshatter compared to say, AD? That is, how much harder is it to use and win games with compared to AD, and what is the skill floor relative to Hypercrypt? Just curious as there are a few fairly flimsy units in there (ie Tomb Blades), and you mentioned that the detachment struggles with primary denial. Would love to see that deployment map like you mentioned! Good video though, these sorts of videos are great to get ideas on what to run

Hmmm solid question, I think Starshatter skill floor is pretty low against newer players. Good opponents will know how to expose this detachments weaknesses and that is wear the Skill ceiling becomes a lot higher. Awakened, I think is just a strong detachment.
