why is there no ground footage of the re-entry? also not clear if it exploded or not

It’s hard to capture takeoff at high altitudes, much harder to capture re-entry from the ground using a camera. Maybe if they attempted reentry at night, but then all you’d see is just a meteor like object, no real resolution

One: it was not scheduled to return to launchpad. It was to attempt to do a “soft landing” in the ocean Two: when you’re testing new rockets, it’s best to stay out of their way during re-entry. You have no idea what’s going to go wrong. That’s why they targeted the ocean
