I've been missing the streams live lately, due to the time difference and life being hectic, but it was nice to drop in at the end just to say hi. I've been in "patient waiting" mode for the eventual demo version update, but I found myself jonesing for some starship sim this week after World of Warships introduced a crossover event with Star Trek TNG. It was funny to me, but also a testament to this game, that seeing backgrounds of trek interiors made me think about the Magellan and be MORE excited about that

Hey that was a long stream Dan... I feel your frustration with the starfield... I literally spent three hours yesterday trying to get a Fanuc robot recovery program to work from near the back side of the arm travel... by using linear single axis moves. Incidentally this area is nearby the location that I had set for the home position... This morning I go in and wiped out all of that logic and put a single line of code in that said in essence "Move to home position"... Wouldn't you know it worked?? Like DoH!!! Fixed it in five freaking minutes with a fresh brain... :)

haha yep, there are many times when I've struggled with something half-asleep, only to fix it within 10 minutes after a good rest. I've just sat down with a cup of tea after a long sleep, so fingers crossed! :D

I must admit I tried Starfield once... I found it so confusing that I had to ask for my money back. That's why I love Starship Sim. There's one space ship, you get in it. You fly it to wherever you want to go. You get out, buy some chips, watch a bit of Netflix, and fly off somewhere else. That music at the beginning of the stream was a bit weird. I thought my internet had gone down but it turned out the music was supposed to be like that. I know this is a daft question, but when you talk of cat planets, do you mean a planet with cats on it? I hope so. x
