This gets way better the more you get into it. So many variety types of enemies. And level design gets better too. Sound is great in this game especially in multiplayer. I suggest you try it. Its really not a bad time.

And I mus say: even I am not interested in the game you show from time to time, this channel is kinda a happy place for me. I just played through the first mission with a friend. I absolutely loved it! Having been a Starship Troopers fan, I had high hopes for this game and it didn’t disappoint. The RPG elements, the Co-op, the story. I will be playing this game for a while!

my issue is with this for a star ship troopers game it just looks so empty with no big swarms of bugs and that is what is putting me off from getting this as i feel it would be disappointing to be on a empty map with no big swarms

Mission 3 you have 4 types of enemies at the same time. Flying spitting bugs. Crawlers, giant dragonflies,exploding suicide bugs and more big bosses. It.goes off. This video was just the tutorial level. And with 3 people it gets crazy. At least 30 enemies on the screen at the same time.

I hope they have or add and option to turn off all the HUD/GUI crap like energy bars above the enemies. Talk about a totally gamey way to immediately destroy any suspension of disbelief for me personally. Edit: Either way, I'm not feeling this at all. Looks like it belongs on hardware from two decades or more ago. No shadows for the bugs, even in a game that looks pretty simple here, just bugs me. And the gameplay doesn't look great. I'm smelling a flop here, which is a real shame and such a waste of so cool a license with such huge potential to do something really great.

Well I’d get your nose checked, you can turn off the hud and health bars, it might not be for you but it’s actually dope , as a fan of starship troopers the movie Ill say they have actually captured the vibe, all vr games look kind of cartoony or at least worse in footage, than in game, either way definitely not a flop , if you’ve played Arizona it’s pretty similar tbh , in that it’s just a lot better in game , the guns are great the multiplayer adds loads but solo is great too it’s got rag doll and finishers that get used on YOU by the bugs the perks are cool and it fills what seemed like gaps in the lore for extermination, this is what spec ops and the psychic troopers have been doing.

Honestly, for a VR game it's very disappointing. Especially when compared to Starship Trooper Extermination. The lifebars are unnecessary, the guns are unfortunately '"flat", and overall it's pretty underwhelming. I think they should've just stayed away from VR and focused on their other existing games and properties.
