Hey I didn't forget him as a brother! Like I said this is an introspective and thoughtful vid, ain't a joyful one, can't include the companionship and the buddy times here.. there's no way you'd include all the colors and shapes ..I like to choose my battles! One at a time! Only in vids like Us or Me and Thee .. I've been able to represent all the shapes of their wonderful friendship, but trust me, it's a complex task and it ain't easy! I've another one in mind, only waitin' it to mellow ...

The Trap - Hutch was fatalistic and defeatist, as long as he and Starsky were on equal terms, then Starsky caught a bullet, and suddenly Hutch had motivation. Save Starsky. And inspiration struck. There are over 93 hours of potential clips, yet some episodes are barely ever touched. If you mean to do an "action" vid, I'd recommend the episodes that are actual detective work, not so much the missing partner/rescue stuff. Sometimes, it seems the cop show gets forgotten in all the angst.

Anyone for version three? Blend them. This one fits the lyrics slighty better (few as they are). And maybe presents your theme a little better. But I understand about all the action clips. The other needs more Hutch. It's supposed to be about Starsky's vision of his partner, right? Hutch as conscience, calming influence, savior, friend. That's a bit clearer in this version. To my eye. Well, we have different visions of a lot of things. "I've got a couple more years on you, babe, and that's all."

Thks! yeah I played with the "time" here and in the other one too ... I luv that scene in The Trap, Starsk was so sure he wasn't gonna make it..ya know, sometimes I feel the urge to include overused scenes like that one outside the porn studio, 'cause they are just irreplaceable! same with the SR's scenes! they signify too much in the series' collective unconscious and they're not to dispense! no way to don't use'm when it comes to represent the love they shared 'n what they meant to each other

Ask Em about songs, I stopped listening to rock at the end of the seventies. I'd steer you to Springsteen or somebody from before your time. Or Country. You kind of forgot to include Hutch as companion, brother, and friend. They both need the good times together, as well as the bad. But you did that with "Warning Sign" and I agree with Em, it goes both ways. Especially the scenes from The Plague. Of course, my middle name is "and". This forum is too limited, we need a larger venue, in real time.

Like I said they were one at first.. then I decided to cut it... here you can see Hutch as a conscience, an anchor a beacon in the middle of the storm, in the other one you can picture him as a rescuer, a savior a superhero who comes in the nick of times... and they are both Hutch, and they are both needed and essential to Starsky to keep on living

Well, for starters, amiga, in times like these... It's 2013!!!! LOL... both versions. I definitely prefer the acoustic. Can't understand the words in the electric version. Think I prefer the clip sequence in this one, too. However... (see other video)
